I went to a new Cafe in my inner city neighbourhood with my neighbour in the 90s. We asked the owner why he called his cafe that. He said it was his favorite word. He was a pretentious prat. Happy to say the cafe isn't there anymore but neither am I or my neighbour.

Also the movie Serendipity was pretentious and stupid like that cafe.
