I don't know why I assumed you were a man initially, ChicagoBorn.
I've been reading you like a woman. If you don't mind specifying (no problem if you'd rather not), should I be thinking of you as a filthy bitch or a dirty bastard when you put on your "grammer" nazi hat? At which, btw, you blow (or suck)! P.s. I don't use the Urban Dictionary except to look up words and phrases tossed about -- I'm not that cool. The sample sentences there almost always make me laugh, though.

I do believe that I'd be classified as a Bitch more than I would a Bastard; even though technically they are both correct. (Long story.) So, filthy bitch, cranky bitch, crazy bitch, hormonal bitch, smokin bitch, cry-baby bitch, corporate bitch, one tired bitch, crappy grammar bitch, and least we not forget damn carrying bitch! Yep! Yep! All of those would describe me on any given day. I completely suck (for just for you. .. blow) at grammar, and I shall own that one. In the event I have a post with perfect grammar you will know it's not really me... It's an impostor! I do get a slight pass; it was my Grammer that died a few weeks ago. (Blow-hard) BaaaaaahahHaha! I was just introduced to the Urban Dictionary a couple of months ago. .. We were entertained for half a day. We laughed so hard - some of that shit is absolutely unbelievable!

Well, I'd be a hypocritical bitch if I had an adversity to other people's long stories.
So, don't keep me waiting; bust your tale out, you bitchy bastard.

Well I'm a Bitch just cuz it's fun end of that long story.... BaaaaaahahHaha! ! I am the product of an affair my mother had with my father's best friend. Found out when I was about 37 or so. Remember that age old saying. . "It musta been the milkman - or it musta been the mailman. "? NOPE! It was the a/c man. Hahaha! Tons of family drama. .. snooze... snooze... Every family has it; mine is just more like a Jerry Springer episode. So see, technically I qualify for both and bitchy bastard was spot on. How is it you initially labeled me male yet "read me" as a female? Did you profile me? ? I hate it when that happens. I was instructed to be very gender nonspecific. .. For Fucks Sake - I'm confused on many a things; but my gender ain't one of them. (Nor in the whole suck blow thing either; like some other people I know. ) Ok - "HairOfTheDog" Would that be Nazareth ' s "Hair Of The Dog" (I loved Nazareth - now those were some days); "Hair Of The Dog" as in beer; "Hair Of The Dog" as in a favorite restaurant; or "Hair Of The Dog" as in some band that can't if the are rock or celtic? The Urban Dictionary states .... (shit, I just could not resist) eeecchummm.. It is an expression "Hair Of The Dog that bit you", then it goes on to say when a dog bites you, you should take some of it's hair and place it 'in' the wound. WTF! Fucking Hillbillies!

I was being literal when I said that I don't know why I initially assumed you were a man. Maybe because more of the newest members have been men than women lately. That's a guess.
If I'd said that I don't know why I'm reading you as a woman now, that would have been accurate, as well. It doesn't really matter anyway; didn't want to be referring to you as "he" if you were instead a "she" is all. I didn't profile you -- not sure what that would even entail in this context. I just like reading what people put out there and what they wanna share. If I have a question stemming from that, I'll just ask directly.

Sorry, missed the username inquiry the first time out, ChicagoBorn.
Your first guess was right -- inspired by the Nazareth album, which was playing when I registered at Mock.

Ok - for all of you that I have made absolutely batshit crazy since my joining you all; it has been discovered that my UCP settings have been set on "mobile" this entire time. So when all you blowhards were piranha feeding on my ass - I was NOT lookin at the same thing you were.
It pains me to the bottoms of my feet to say Thank You! to BlueTiki for assisting me in getting this issue resolved. However, I must offset that graditude with the fact that he too thought I was blind, stupid, and completely not listening to instructions. May I now be removed from the Forrest Gump Society? Shit!

That's the second reference you've made to people being hard on you here. How the hell did I miss the feeding frenzy to which you've referred? I read just about everything and aside from aussie's silly kinda rude, think you've been treated pretty gently (and also think that you handle yourself well and fit in rather quickly -- glad you're here). Gunnar's (BlindGreed1's) intro thread was big fun; he took much harder shots without whining and seemed to have a good time with it, Forrest. P.s. bastard -- I'm craving prawns in chili sauce now!

You're either very brave or very naive to cruise around with that thing sticking out around these parts, ChicagoBorn. Some might see it as an invitation and press you to pony up, and "you never know what you're gonna get...". Tip: Ramseycat's been having sex dreams and dirty thoughts all over the board these days; she seems ripe for the pickin'. Sidle up to her if you're interested, otherwise consider this just idle gossip. If you're in fact interested in bagging the Cat, here's Tip 2: hot chocolate will get you everywhere (but rice cakes or Smarties might work, too). Gotta go get some work done and then stop by the market for prawns -- you really did inspire the tonight's dinner menu.

Are you entertained by accompanying foods? Dessert kinda gal?

Are you entertained by accompanying foods? Dessert kinda gal? Ended up cheating tonight and ordering garlic prawns with steamed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, and water chestnuts) from my favorite Chinese delivery place. I did a client visit and an assessment on opposite sides of the city this afternoon. Then, went to the market and filled my bag, only to realize as I was standing in line at check-out that I hadn't transferred my wallet from the purse to the brief case and didn't have a dime on me (nor my driver's license, nor any other form of payment or ID) -- frustrating. I did the same thing two weeks ago. Anyway, I didn't feel like making a second run to the market, so took the slacker's route. Tomorrow, we're going to the store because what I really wanted were chilled prawns with a little lemon juice on shredded lettuce, dipped in lime chili sauce. Some hummus and olives on the side are always good. Yeah, I like wine -- not a connoisseur -- pretty much like it all except White Zinfandel and terribly sweet varieties or mixes (though working through a couple of pitchers of Sangria on a nice weekend outside isn't too sweet a pursuit for my tastes). Zinfandel and Syrah work well for me, but I probably drink more Cab than any other red and almost exclusively Chardonnay when it comes to white wines. Not a big dessert person, more for salty appetizers, but typically skip both unless it's a special occasion. So, what's YOUR ideal meal and pairing (to make or order)?

I usually get "the look" that I must be lieing out my ass or should not be allowed out without supervision...Seriously? An enjoyable meal on my menu... would be some fresh grilled Halibut, Asparagus either grilled or flash steamed not too picky (just not limp - limp asparaus is not good!) The hummus sounded yummy. I get spoiled with homemade hummus. The wine most commonly found in hand would be Moscato either d'Asti or straight; but usually the d'Asti. Though a good Shiraz is very high on my list. Yet, I could easily make a meal out of a good bottle of wine some fresh fruits, cheeses, and good company. I must admit, I have not previously been a heavy hitter on the prawns, but you did a magnificent job with your description... made me want to take another swing at them. |
