BUYING AMERICAN
#1

Unless you live under a rock you've heard about all of the GM recalls. They've now recalled more cars than they've sold since 2009. Do you own one of their vehicles?

Do you go out of your way to purchase only American made products?

Well it is "government motors" after all, what can you expect? All my stuff that gets made has an American made sticker on it and we get plenty of jobs that require only American made products. its a good thing. ............Buy Ford or Toyota. Toyota has a great closed environment engine that just goes forever.

GM...FORD...CHRYSLER...HARLEY DAVIDSON...all made with parts from China. I'm sticking with a Nissan or a Toyota next time. They're all made in America and you can drive them into the ground.

I own 2 chevy's. I like em and haven't had a lot of issues with the ones I own. I'd like to say I buy American products, but as FAHQ pointed out, there is very little merch that is made and assembled here with all American parts.

My Lacrosse in SNAKEland was one of the models listed in the recall. Smiley_emoticons_skeptisch

I called the dealer, and am still waiting for them to call back to let me know if it was among the "serial numbers" (as not every one was) affected.

Actually, these days, it's harder and harder to only buy American.

No more "look for the union label", most everything is made outside the USA!
