Let's see if she can get to the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about MS's vixen. Confession is good for the soul, after all. And, there's no criminal activity at play here -- just some charges that MS is a rationalizing, passive-aggressive perv...I mean perp. What's the harm in letting MS revel in the details of his rebellious guilt-ridden "almosts"?

Thanks HotD.
I was hoping for a reprieve. She's exactly my type: 5'2"ish, dark hair, 'curvy' and super sexy. Now, as Forrest said more than once, "that's all I have to say about that".
06-30-2014, 04:47 PM
I didn't offer you a reprieve, MS. There was no punishment/sentencing on the table in the first place.
I simply expressed my opinion, which stands -- whether you keep sharing on the subject or really don't have any more to say about it this time.

You mean you had some once? I have no doubt MS tells everyone he loves his wife and kids dearly, but that whole paragraph ^ contradicts it. Why even get the number off the buddy? Why is he even looking for sexual satisfaction outside his marriage? He has no respect for his wife. If he loved baby Jesus and feared God like he says he does, and respected her, he'd confess his sins. I doubt that's going to happen. It's harmless fun right? If I don't get caught..

Crash, a person can love his wife and kids, love Jesus and still be fallible.
I've had many struggles in my life, desire of the flesh probably topping that list. All a person can do is ask for forgiveness.

I'm starting to think that MS's religious faith revolves around the "ask for forgiveness, get a free ticket" doctrine. That's much easier than being respectful in regards to someone you love (or at least discreet if you've already breached that respect, FFS). That, and possibly because he believes that being a Christian projects the image of an upstanding family man and a good provider (which is something that he read a lot of hot horny chicks dig). Anyway, if he wasn't trolling with the "desire of the flesh" and "all a person can do..." bullshit cliches, MS has contracted one very serious case of creepy dork -- an exorcism may be required.

Creepy dork and dorky perv?
Hmmmm, one name I've never been called is dork. I mean 'spaz', 'geek' and 'nerd' sure, but never dork. But HotD, let's get back to Christianity. The premise of it is based on Jesus' love for us. We are all sinners and doomed to a life of eternal damnation, yet, God loved people so much he sent his Son to die for us so that we may be forgiven and still enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I think everyone knows this. Now, once we've accepted Christ we are supposed to do our very best at living as Christ would. My actions regarding this woman or my actions regarding women in the past certainly wouldn't be deemed 'Christ-like'. You accused me of being someone who has been given Grace and now knowingly sins but can 'fall back' on his Get Out Of Jail Free' card. Maybe you or Crash or Duchess are unique in that you don't 'sin' or have issues you struggle with, but I'm not that lucky. I ask for forgiveness often, but more often, I ask for strength in combatting my personal demons. I'm not there yet (perfection), but I'm a lot better than I was 10 years ago, and for that I feel blessed. I strive daily to be a better husband and father and with Gods help I'll continue to improve.

Sorry, MS.
I don't give much credence to the words of creepy dorkish pervs who try to use rationalization, deflection, and bullshit to explain or convince me of something. Neither crash, Duchess, ramsey nor I claimed to be perfect -- we're all adults of reasonable intelligence and wouldn't lie to our ourselves or others by claiming perfection. And, neither crash, Duchess, ramsey nor I tossed our indiscretions in to the Mock pit for all to read and weakly attempted to position ourselves as not responsible and somehow admirable in the process. You own that behavior -- and the behavior behind the indiscretion. Nobody else. Anyway, Forgiveness is powerful; I believe that. It isn't something that only religious people get and give. But, I also believe that asking for forgiveness from God or Jesus or Ganesha or Allah or the betrayed spouse or the crime victim...is an empty gesture if the one who's asking is not truly sorry and doesn't accept responsibility for his actions. It's cowardly and shallow to ask for it under those circumstances. You didn't do anything to me so there's nothing for me to forgive or reprieve, in any case. I'm just telling you my honest opinion about how you've presented yourself here today. Whether you have anything for which you need to ask forgiveness elsewhere, IDK. I don't think some flirty texts and naked photos are gonna damn you to hell or anything. But, your hubris might.

So then, MS, are you going to ask your wife for forgiveness for getting that number, for inadvertently soliciting those pictures? Or are you going to perpetuate the sin with a bit of what she doesn't know won't hurt her?
The truth will set you free, my son..

Do NOT tell your wife. All that will do is hurt her. Knock the shit off and make it clear to this chick nothing is going to happen. Ever. I can't stand it when a person tells their spouse the shitty thing they did because they feel so guilty and beg for forgiveness. There now. Everything is all fixed now. I confessed and apologized so I'm good. No. The spouse is crushed and the trust is lost. If you screw up do what you have to too make it right with yourself and don't do it again. But don't place the burden of your screw up on your spouse.

Haha...so the trust is only lost if she finds out?
I'd say the trust was lost long ago, she just doesn't know about it. Yet..

Living a Godly life is extremely difficult and given I'm Catholic, it's impossible. I don't ever ask to be forgiven.
