After reading your post I tried to find out and according to what I read the invitation came from Mike Johnson, Chuck Schumer, Mitch McConnell and Hakeem Jeffries. Those leaders said the invitation was extended (back in May) to highlight America's solidarity with Israel. 

They don't speak for me.
