The is no one in this country who's done more to open up the world of professional Spin/Scratch Club DJing to female millionaire reality/sex-tape stars.
No one (except maybe that chick Lindsay Lohan dated for a bit).

Paris isn't a personal favorite of mine either, aussie. But, I think she's kinda fun.
She doesn't seem to take herself too seriously.
I like her better than the Kardashian people or those Duggars.

We have a lot more "sources" for news than we did 25 years ago. Sometimes I hear or read people talking about how terrible it is with all of the crime today. I understand that sentiment and any crime is "too much" crime.
But..........the good news is, just because we're more aware of crimes (which I think is good) doesn't mean they're happening more often.
Since 1990, crime rates in the US have actually been declining steadily across the board for violent and non-violent crime.

Well, I can't post about Honey Boo Boo going off the air as good news because that has to be tragic for someone, somewhere.
Amanda Bynes was released from psychiatric care. That's good news for Amanda Bynes, right?

Sorry to read that. I see it as being one step closer to her obituary.

That's good news -- I'm glad he's back in the US too.
According to his family and attorneys, Tahmooressi suffers from PTSD as a result of his time in Afghanistan. He claims that he took the 3 loaded guns and ammunition across the Mexican border by accident after driving from Florida to San Diego, CA because he gets easily distracted and missed a freeway off-ramp.
That's a big 'oops' and I don't blame Mexican authorities for arresting him and having him evaluated. The psych reports done in the US the week before he was arrested, along with the results of the eval done in Mexico during his 8 month incarceration, both conclude that the former Marine believes he's in constant danger.
Someone that unfocused and fearful shouldn't be in jail, but I don't think he should be running around with loaded guns either. Hope he gets into a good treatment program right away.

I understand that this is a U.S. Marine who served who his country, but I do not agree with everyone that thought it was Government's job to get him out of jail. He was not duty, he was on personal trip to Mexico. If you carry drugs or weapons in or out of any country and get caught, you are going to jail. God himself wouldn't be able to get you out of the slammer. Have you never watched Locked Up Abroad TV show? Some of these people who went to jail for years were set up, unaware they were carrying illegal stuff, and they still went to jail. The local U.S. embassies were unable to help, Congressman, Presidents, etc. have attempted to intervene to no avail. Now I realize that PTS is a legit illness, but it seems as though that card can be used for any service man/woman who gets into legal trouble. The fact that we have many illegal Mexican people crossing our borders has nothing to do with this case. I personally don't know any circumstances of this Marine's case, but I do know about some murderers of wives, girlfriends, husbands, etc. have also served in the military and they were crazy psychos before they ever went into battle. We need to make sure that this young marine has legitimate illness and is appropriately B treated, however, possible malfeasance should be looked at, too. Bottom line, being a Marine doesn't mean he is not capable of a possible crime.

The former Marine and Marine reservist was diagnosed with PTSD by medical professionals in the US before he entered Mexico. He was diagnosed again with PTSD while in Mexico. I think everything that should be done to confirm the legitimacy of the claimed illness has been done.
Mexico doesn't have the medical professionals to treat PTSD so the Mexican judge ordered Tahmooressi released to the US for medical attention. However, the judge made clear that he was not going to sacrifice the Mexican judicial process because of political pressure and there was no ruling made regarding the weapons charges -- they have not been dropped and that matter is being evaluated, AFAIK.
The politicians who petitioned the Mexican government and judiciaries for Tahmooressi's release weren't obligated to do that, I agree. But, there's nothing wrong with them having done so and it's not unheard of between countries. Some of the veterans' advocates and politicians likely acted out of genuine concern for the best interest of a sick man who had served his country. Others may have advocated for him because it benefits them politically. Either way, I'm glad they did and hope Tahmooressi is able to be treated effectively, whether he winds up having to face weapons charges down the line or not.

I had an appointment at the Doctors today and on the elevator on the way down there was this little bundle of pep in a wheelchair, I think she had MS or something. She was about maybe 9 and she was singing like crazy. I looked at her and said "Hi Sweety whats your name" She said Matty and I told her my name was Dan.
The Mother was a big almost bald stringy haired beer bellied She thing, she looked like an angry ape when I started talking to her kid, I could tell she was one of those foster people that was probably just chewing tabaccy on the porch. She probably just put the kid in front of the T.V. and watched roller derby all day. But I kinda ignored the stupid looks she was giving me. And I did not want to go there, it was just a quick thought that I had and my face may have revealed it but...
Anyways, I had parked way on the other side of the parking lot and Matty and her Mother were waiting for a car to come by in the corner there, by the entrance to the place.
Every 5-6 steps I took I would say " Bye Matty" and she would yell "Bye Mr. Dan" her Mother did not like it but I kept doing it every 7-8 steps anyways until I was at my car and she was about 1⁄2 a football field away.
I had to yell kinda hard to get out that last "Bye Matty " and as I opened my door and got in I heard "Bye Mr. Dan, I love you!" as she was flapping her wings waving. She looked so small from where I was but I heard it loud and clear.
I had a real tough time navigating outta that parking lot and a real tough time seeing red lights and stop signs almost till I got home.

Duch, why do you say that about her? Do you think she is in trouble? I saw someone talking about it yesterday and I wondered what everyone is talking about.
Good news, I also saw (short clip) of Miley whatserthing and she now sounds like a man. She has been talking so much all her life she has nearly worn her vocal cords out, and she looks revolting.

Are you referring to Amanda? That kid has got some serious mental health issues that have been well documented. I think it's sad, she's pitiful and I can't mock her. KK on the other hand is fair game and is as mockable as they come.

Bynes is really fucked up and is tweeting her life out there. She really needs to get it together, must be hard for her. KK is so brainless, didn't she see when the dude grabbed the mike off Taylor Swift? He's a douche. Oh and the sex tape it's all grubby, evil, toxic, doing harm, fucking people up, taking not contributing, vain, vague nonsense. Brainless. "yeh but I'm rich" big deal, so what. who cares? #getoveryourself

I had a hard time reading your last two sentences for a minute there.
Matty sounds like a very sweet kid with a great spirit.
You're a good person, Dan.

So I was checking online to confirm my pay was direct deposited. Normally I do not check...always the same amount. Anyway, when I looked there was an extra $110 in there.
So, I went to the online site to check my paystub (direct deposit means no paper check stub). In the memo was a notice "This pay reflects an increase of $1.00 per hour. I can live with that.
Thing is, I was never informed prior to this paycheck. Again, I can live with that,
