1795 time capsule found:

Corrosion, degradation and decay destroy a lot of history, but Massachusetts officials can thank the elements for helping uncover the past.

In a damp ceremony of discovery Thursday, snow-flecked excavators in Boston retrieved a time capsule whose contents are thought to be almost as old as the nation, and even older. It was tucked into a cornerstone of the Massachusetts State House in 1795.

I have an old book that tells of the bunker hill monument being almost done in Boston. They do say some things about the Statehouse and I will have to go back and see if they have the ceremony with Paul Revere and Sam Adams there.

A highlight of the Address was the positive economic trends in the country.



The GOP Congress is reportedly pissed about Obama's swagger and vows to quash suggested tax hikes on the wealthy aimed to help the middle class.

I watched it up until he said "We'' gave you the internet and the point stressed before that "We all need to work together" then in the next sentence that he would veto any bill that did not go along with "his" agenda.
Also the "bill" that goes after the rich also includes a clause that would penalize a family that one person stays home to raise the children. Look into these things close because just like the affordable care act its filled with stuff that's just doesn't make sense. I don't think 1 Dem read the thing in its entirety before voting yes on it.
The thing about Obama is that he does not allow any tweeking of any law he deems correct and will not change anything no matter what. Then turn around and claim that there is no co-operation between the 2 parties.
