A 17 yr. veteran of the LA police department says that if you don't want to get shot, tased, pepper sprayed, struck with a baton or thrown to the ground just do what I tell you to do even if your rights are being violated. If you ask for their name and badge number, chances are this encounter will not end well for you.

LE should never wonder why they are disrespected and held in low regard by so many when they have this general attitude.
