So, Hipnottik, what was the subject of the Google search that brought you here and what sort of topics do you like to ponder and discuss?

You can read, and think, and just shoot the shit with members here -- without having to fight or get into pissing contests.

But, we have some widely differing opinions and styles among us and do a lot of debating. Fighting and poking and mocking and pissing around is sometimes part of the environment; it's up to you whether to avoid those kinds of exchanges or jump on in.

For me, it's fun -- so long as nobody turns out to be off his/her rocker and knows how to take it all in stride.

That reminds me of a poster I used to read. Most people hated her because she was so quick to come up with these little nuggets of language perfection, they were always spot on and usually hilarious. I was a fan.

Ah, I remember tossing around Thoth and some related topics with Cladking in his birthday thread not so long ago. Interesting stuff.

Clad doesn't come around nearly often enough for my liking.

He's got some original hypotheses and very strong opinions when it comes to the construction of the Egyptian Pyramids, the roles of linguistics and spirituality in ancient Egyptian culture and its study, the (perceived) flawed interpretations of such by modern day Egyptologists, and the like.
