Like I said the loonies of the Fox Klux Klan are walking a very fine line at times.

Mentioning veterans with nothing to lose in the same sentence as Barrack Obama (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) isn't fooling anybody with half a brain as to what they actually means and would like to see happen.

The DHS are probably more active now with a black man in the whitehouse than they have ever been before, there have already been numerous arrests of people who have threatened him already.

If president Obama was assassinated tomorrow there would be street parties in every state south of the Mississippi and the DHS know this.

I haven't looked at that forum yet but a comment that jumps to mind is, if you happened to agree with any of the comments they are making on that forum, would they still be racists?

I hate to think I'm racist although I'm sure I am to a certain degree but I can accept that and hopefully mature as a person wheremy bigotry is relativelyinsignificant. These people vehemently deny any form of racism and are firmly convinced they're correct in their political and religious thinking.

Therefore, as hard as I've tried to imagine it, I can't see me ever agreeing with them. It's like trying to understand how a gorilla thinks... it's like we're different species or something.

Some of the 'racial' views I do find borderline - but I'm not so pc that I find offense with every little comment. I also will say that is because of the stuff I chose to read and am not basing my opinion on stuff that was said in the past and I've not read. I will not make a comment from cut and paste topics long past their prime.

I'm not defending anyone.

I'm explaining my posting in their topic which OP thought I went in to post to troll like everyone here did in the political forum when BornDragon joined there.

I never said my view on if I think they're racist or not. I have stated many of their views are too extreme for me. But that does not seem to be good enough for you. You want me to say "I think they're all racists" outright, and won't be happy until I do.

I also see how you tried to turn my posts around by bringing it back to continuing to ask me if I thought they were racist, and thinking I'd be trapped into saying one way or another.

I said no such thing in defense of their racism or them not being racist. I gave my opinion on the immigration topic and corrected them with the stupid story of pig blood and Black Jack Pershing.

My mother plays these "let's try and trap her into 'something'" kinds of games.

I feel if I were to say emigrate to Jamaica it would be upon ME to learn their customs and speak Patois, not me force them to accommodate me and my American ideals and rights. One moves to a new land because they want to be part of that land and not go there to change it to what they left from.

I AM a liberal, but I totally agree with that statement and I have voiced my opinions on illegal (and hell, even legal) immigration here before. It IS a problem and our system IS being abused. I don't think we should close our borders, but I do think that people who are here illegally should be sent back where they came from (with their children who were born in the US and all) instead of coddled and encouraged. And hell yes, people coming into this country should have to speak English. That's just ridiculous.
