I'm sure management will rethink their position going forward after having to refund people their money.

I think it's sucky that those people thought their crying baby was acceptable in a movie theater. They had to have known their baby was annoying to those who had come to see a film.

That is so pathetically passive aggressive. You're a stupid wimp for not having spoken up at the time.

I think I remember Mo saying he turned all yellow and had something with his liver too, but that doesn't seem to be stopping him.
It utterly and totally scared the shit out of me!!
I thought that's it, life as I knew it is over, it's fucking water and vegan from then on as I will be for sure in the club with 60 when Jade hops around there as an 18 year old.
But alas! After going thru all the tests, the Doc told me there is no problem, and obviously, after having eyes the colour of oranges, which does look cook somehow, and just generally thinking the liver is finally fucked, and I sure wouldn't blame the poor thing, I was like "WHAT?!"
He said yes, the only problem was that some fat, which I believe came from my new started fitness regime, making all that evil fat travel out and thru my body, blocked something on my liver, and once it was gone, all was back to normal. Some blob of fat simply used my liver as some sort of bus stop! Fuck fat!!
Now of course I'm more careful and sure don't go thru those earlier binges, but thank God I can still carry on, for one thing for sure, I dropped cigarettes and any sort of drug like nothing, but drink?
I couldn't imagine life without! Cheers to that

Oh, and to get back to "So ..."
All is set, winter is coming, temperatures are rising, not outside but inside, as we are starting up our pool season this very afternoon. All the furniture and BBQ from our terrace will be moved down to the pool and the official winter party season will be inaugurated. I call it Rave'n Dip, fuck yeah!

There are a few better feelings than walking down at 6am, when it's nice and cold outside, slip naked into your lukewarm pool and watch the news with either some bubbly or coffee in your hand, depending on the day.
Just .... nice.

It was a good movie, though some parts of the story weren't all that realistic.
My friend who read the book liked it too. Definitely worth seeing.
This week, I've promised to take my niece to see "Anabelle". Ababelle's a doll who appeared in "The Conjuring" movies (didn't much care for either of those, but...). Maybe it'll be good -- I liked "Child's Play" way back when and really like all of the Chucky sequels for some reason.

I read a synopsis of it yesterday. I should have been surprised but I wasn't. Were the characters as unlikable as I read them to be?

Yeah, I can see how the main characters would be considered generally unlikable.
They were very flawed individuals, but I found them interesting. I wouldn't want to hang out with them or anything, but they were compelling to observe.
I typically prefer stories that involve quirky and 'effed up character studies, as opposed to love stories and feel-good movies, though.

I really wanted to get into that book. Everyone who had read it was raving about it and then news came out that it was going to be made into a film, it created a lot of excitement. Mysteries are my favorite genre and I felt disappointed that I wasn't as moved by it as the people who were discussing it.
