I only accept help with one tree and that's the tree I put up during a house party, I do the others on my own and prefer it that way. I guess it's different if you have kids.
User, don't wait until Christmas Eve to put your tree up.

I put mine up about a week before Christmas and take it down before New years. A ton of money is not spent on the Holiday either. My kids are fine with what they get and everyone is happy as hell. Its a 300.00 holiday.

The older kids (especially boys) don't care about helping, but you have to let the little ones help. Then when they fall asleep you rearrange it so it looks good.

I think that would probably bring me a lot of joy, really everything surrounding it. Santa, the cookies & carrots left for him and his reindeer, the entire magical mystery of it all.

It's fun when they're little, I don't understand why some people won't allow their kids to believe in Santa. It's not a big fucking deal, really.
