I once went to a strip club while visiting someone at West Point, it was in Newburgh and called The Circus. The women were young & gorgeous. There is one here south of me, I don't know the name but everyone calls it Titty City and it's said there is a one armed stripper homely enough to stop a train.

Was it awful? I felt your pain, I've been there, maybe not doing the same thing but I could relate to the "dread".

It wasn't too bad.
My back hurts a little and Beverly the RN was kind of a bitch, but my client only woke up twice.
She fell and broke her right hip last week, for the second time in 6 months. She is such a kind and generous woman, I hate seeing her in pain. She cried the whole time we were changing and cleaning her this morning. That was the worst part.

It's horrible to see wonderful people suffering. :(

No morphine. She's got a lot of other health problems and meds in play, but I'm not administering them at the facility.
I'm doing the shift again tonight. Oh well, I got a little page light and a box of old paperbacks to scrounge from, and I'm saving on labor costs, and I know the set-up now. (I could use a little morphine for my back though.)

There's only one Elvis. (Chin is somewhat similar)

Ben Carson will be speaking at the Phoenix Convention Center, tonight.
I'm going to be one of the "crazies" in attendance, to drink the milk from a "non presidential affect" candidate.
I hope he speaks about his foundation and the genesis of it's creation and mission.
And the creation of Sanctuary Cities for disenfranchised and down-trodden blacks.

That sounds like it will be interesting, Tiki.
I hope you post your observations and opinions about the event, the vibe, and the speech content.
I wonder if the Black Lives Matter activists will show up and take the stage/mic from Carson like they've done with Bush and Sanders. They're on a mission to ensure that mass incarceration, criminal justice reform and systematic racial discrimination are seriously addressed by presidential hopefuls; they've vowed to keep showing up at candidates' rallies and taking over the stage.

I will . . . Maybe not tonight but as soon as I can.
Speaking of "black lives matter" . . .
I guess they crashed a Hillary event and she stated something to the effect of she doesn't believe you can change people's hearts . . . only pass legislation to enforce compliance.
So much for "a better message" to win the hearts and minds of our terrorist buddies.
There goes Obama's strategy and here comes Biden or Gore to save the day!

Yeah, I posted the video of Hillary's meeting with BLM activists in the Hillary For President thread.
It's an interesting exchange.
I agree with you -- Hillary's view is not the same as Obama's. On this and several other issue, their stances/policy plans differ.

Sorry, HotD for not getting to The Hillary thread . . . too little time.
Will give it a listen.
Got the Cliff Notes from a friend.
Thanks for doing that.
Now . . . how 'bout posting those damned emails of hers!

I cleaned out my car and something made me buy one of those New Car Scent Christmas trees out of the vending machine. When I opened it up it didn't smell too bad so I threw it under the passenger's seat because hanging it from the mirror is tacky. It wasn't until I drove off that the smell hit me. Now I can't find the damn thing, WTF there are only so many places it could have went under there. Now my car smells like a nigger's old Cadillac.

We got hit by a batch of smoky air here a couple of days ago. Some time back in February or March I posted that it was going to be an interesting fire season given the lack of rain. Profound, right?
I wonder if this whole El Nino prediction will come to pass. El Nino's suck almost as much as a drought if you ask me. I go bat shit crazy when the water is stuck in the "on" position for weeks on end. After a couple of days I also get pretty damn sick of the constant refrain "well, we need(ed) it". Fuck. What we need is normal, not a month of rain and flooding but some of those people won't shut up (I've been through both drought and El Nino so I know stuff).
Today it's a little crisp (and crispy) outside. Shame about the firemen that have been killed.

I don't think I'm ever going to get used to seeing some of you Californians say that. I think y'all enjoy San Diego weather year 'round.

Is there a global train strike . . . or are the markets reacting to Biden's meeting, this past weekend?
I'm hoping for a massive El Nino.
Looking forward to many days of skiing deep powder and donning a cold wetsuit for epic winter swells.
