Long story short - pregnant childcare worker has been told if she doesn't marry her partner she will be fired. She's employed by a church. Personally, I don't care if she marries or not, I don't view marriage as "the tie that binds you". The comment that struck me was the pregnant woman saying, "you can't judge someone by their lifestyle". Do you think that's a valid comment? Do you think how someone lives their life is a reflection of who they are?

Its a Church, they have rules and their membership is voluntary so they can set their policies however they want. They are not breaking any laws unless they are accepting some kind of govt funds. Then they have to abide by all the anti discrimination laws the govt already has in place.
Doesn't make it right, but it isn't illegal
