It's hideous. I'm all about personal expression but come on. I admit I'm conservative though. My ears are pierced 5 times but that's about as wild as I get. I guess if those people are happy with their look, it's none of my business.

If i'm not mistaken, the first two pics are of a lawyer in Mexico. The rest I would assume are in the business of body modification, so their look is a lot like a business card. I know a guy who has implants, piercings and a split tongue and that's his reasoning for the modifications he's made. He's also an accomplished tattoo artist, but he draws the line on facial tatts. Can't say I blame him. Facial tatts just scream "I make bad choices." There was a guy here that called himself "The Scary Guy" who had multiple modifications, tatts and piercings on his face who wasn't in the business and just wanted to look different. He made appearances at special events and tattoo expos up until about this time last year when he blew his head off, so i'd say some have mental issues.

I hate to think I'd be so ill-mannered as to stare but I think it would be just like it was when I saw the woman with sideburns, I wouldn't be able to take my eyes off it. I think it's hideous and I think they are fucked in the head to deliberately do some of that to themselves.

Except for the point BG made about being some type of walking billboard for your business, it completely baffles me--the face tats obviously being the most disturbing.

Maybe it is for attention but hell, we have vets that have had half their faces blown off (and people who have had their face eaten off by meth whacked crazies) who would probably give anything just to look "normal" again. Not to scare little kids. And these people deliberately do this to themselves? In that light it kind of pisses me off but freedom of choice and all that.

I hope they're at least organ donors. Their faces are useless but maybe they can hand over a kidney or lung or something.

I would think he'd need a straw for all liquids. His teeth look like hell too--no swishing around mouthwash for that guy!

Can you imagine being the dental hygienist assigned that nut case? Then again, it gives you several options for accessing the teeth as opposed to those of us who just have a mouth hole on our face I suppose.
