It's alright Zero, I was/am tired/cranky/overworked/stressed. Things that annoy me, really annoy me. I meant the dildo bike. I thought it was ugly. It got on my nerves. Sometimes it's ok to say nothing, but I get tired and don't.

I do think that re-enforcing negative stereotypes by projecting images that are derogatory to a maligned group in society is hatred personified. It is not helpful, but hurtful.

You have a talent, a gift, use it for good.

These images were contracted by Gay Organizations to promote themselves and their sponsored events in Sidney Australia. Are these Gay Organizations re-enforcing negative stereotypes by projecting images that are derogatory to themselves? If so, the missile containing your misguided criticism should have been directed at them and not me.

I must be out of touch since I didn't perceive them as derogatory. Duch, do you think they would have accepted the advertiser's campaign and use of these images if they were derogatory?

I don't think people do the things they do if it doesn't work for them and I don't much care for censorship. If alluding to sex sells in the straight world then it does in the gay world too. I'm just a little surprised that those who don't want to be looked at differently would promote such an in your face ad for having something up your ass, that's all and it was only my impression, others may view it differently.

How do you view it, Zero?

I see it as an image used to grab the attention of the viewer and nothing more.

There are advertisements I cannot look at. They use images of dogs and cats to make appeals to help the humane society.

I agree. This is the kind of shit everyone is sick of. Why do the gays need to promote anything? I thought they wanted to be treated just like everyone else?

I don't know what the big deal is, this bike or whatever it is, could work for any sex IMO; some hetros like anal sex and with a few adjustments on this bike, this would work for any sex....it may start appearing in your local sex toy store. The inventor will probably end up with millions with all this attention given to ad...I must admit I did skim over article...sorry...

FAHQTOO this is simply an advertisement for a club who want to let others know there is a bike ride on a certain date. It's not an attempt to promote the 'GAY AGENDA'. BBH This is only an eye catching image and not a serious attempt market this bike. It's no different than any other AD that tries to get your attention so they can convey a message. In this case, it's a bike ride. Somehow this AD company has far exceeded their objective.
