Sex on the beach is very painful and messy. That damn sand in everything, it's like fucking a bar of Lava soap.
Don't ask me how I know about the Lava soap thing.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Bet they wish they'd opted for the mountain cabin vacation.

The post Duchess made about preferring a cabin in the mountains to a cabana on the beach makes sense to me now...Thanks.

Why the hell would you have sex in the sand when there is a whole ocean available? Doesn't make sense.

Because people watch those stupid romantic movies and figure they are supposed to roll around in the sand or it isn't true love. Meh.
True story: when I was in Vegas I had this girlfriend who was really into romantic-type scenarios and was forever dragging me off to exotic locations for sex. Some were kind of nice, but once she drove me out to the hills outside the city in the middle of the night, and when we got there she wanted to do the "roll around in the desert sand under starlit skies" bit. So I played along for a little while, but let's face it: sharp rocks in your knees and feet and ass and elbows etc, bits of stickers and splinters...just wasn't very fun for me. So I kinda stop for a second and she says, "what's wrong?"
I said, "nothing. I was just thinking about scorpions."
LOLOLOL I never saw a naked woman leap so high in the air from a position flat on her back in my life! Damn near ripped my dick off. But it worked. We finished in the back of her car.

I live nowhere around the sandy beaches, but I still keep a blanket in the back seat of my truck . A person never knows when they are going to be needed.

I like wandering a beach looking for seashells; I did that in Southern CA recently and didn't find anything. I WANT to find a whole sand dollar somewhere/sometime. I don't think it's going to happen in Southern CA.
I like fishing. Putting the line in the water over and over and over again, breaking it and making my husband fix it for me and then casting yet again. I get a huge thrill if I catch an actual fish but then I freak out and scream at my husband to save it/throw it back.
I'm a joy to going fishing with.
One day I might buy a metal detector...I could wander up and down the beach with that and annoy the hell out of people.

Go to Eluthera Bahamas...Atlantic side. You'll find 100s of them. I never found any in Freeport.

Taking Cosmo for a walk in the park. Its as close to a Zen moment as I can get. I enjoy being back in the Northeast in the springtime.

Wrong. Aussie thinks I'm a desperate dick chaser and BBH thinks I'm the moral police. I haven't seen where they called me a moron yet...but then again, BBH might have in one of her long, boring explanations/scoldings and I might have missed it when my eyes glazed over.
