That's my idea of a good time these days. I'm not high maintenance at all. *tops off Duchess' glass of wine* Cheers

I could lay on the beach and listen to the ocean for hours. Or just stroll along the beach looking for shells and just appreciating the beauty of it all.

Bottom line, it takes two to make or break a relationship and I'd be a lot more ready to just say she was a psycho if every damn one of my relationships didn't end up the same way. So women, this one's spoiled. Steer clear. Unless you're one of those women who's into bad boys you want to try and fix. That line forms on the right.
As for having fun: I am leaning more and more toward finding some archaeological dig and playing in the dirt for a while. If it wasn't for the meticulous paperwork I'm sure I'd hate, I'd do that just for fun.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I have the perfect home, in a perfect mountain town in Colorado. I have wildlife all around the house and the deer and elk even climb the deck steps to eat any and every plant. They poop in the driveway and come stare at you through the windows and I love it. The house has the Continental Divide on one side and is a perfect mountain view from kitchen window. I never wanted to leave but alas, I must....

Are you leaving because of health issues, BH? If that's a too personal question please just ignore it.

No problem. I came to Phoenix because it is sea level and I could breathe better here; only needed oxygen at night (emphysema). Now it is 24⁄ 7 here, too. I always thought I would get back to the house in Colorado.I have been leasing it for past several years. Since my house is at 7500 ft, altitude was too high for me to safely live there. Thus, after much soul searching, etc. decided to sell it....tenant is still there but will probably be moving this Fall.
Since I was unable to sell house here in Phoenix, will lease this house when I return to Kansas to be near my family.

I hiked up a mountain in Colorado once and almost passed out. The altitude was so high I couldn't breath. I had to take my jacket off and lay in the snow until I could catch my breath. And that was when I was young and in shape.

BBH, Is your emphysema a result of exposure on your job when passengers could smoke on the plane?

Well, I would like to blame it all on those dang chain smokers on the aircraft, but I smoked for many years; suffered from chronic bronchitis from the age of 16 made worse by smoking. I was short of breath when I moved to the higher altitude, but thought it was my record of smoking; it was emphysema... and just Sally's smart ass comment below. I wouldn't take any of her organs even if she offered them.....old, she says....hmmph.......i quit smoking in 1999....

Do you feel sadness or relief at being single again? Other than time spent with your son your free time is basically yours to spend exactly as you wish, do you find that appealing?

But when are you gonna tell Cars that there were just too many Cs in the group, so you had to cut one (not like that!) when Cutz made the cut?
Don't worry Cars -- the rest of us still like you alright (some of us do, anyway).
Well add just one more C, Crushed!
That's alright though, I like some of you!

I don't care if she is bi-polar, bisexual, bipartisan she's a maniac and not Flashdance style.
Ring your domestic violence hotline over there and ask them if it falls under the category of domestic violence. She placed them in harms way, I dare say she has also physically threatened in the past too.

RING, RING, RING.
(DV Agent):"United States Domestic Violence Hotline -- what's your crisis?"
(Mocker): "Well, you see, I know this guy on the internet who says his girlfriend was so pissed off at him that she didn't wanna look at his face and listen to his shit for 800 miles on the return drive from a miserable tension-packed vacation. So, she left him and his teenaged son to find another way home, just like she said she was gonna do."
(DV Agent): "And......did she punch him, pinch him, slap him, bite him, run him over with the car, put a gun to his head, rape him, ........what?"
(Mocker): "No, nothing like that. But, I know this woman on the internet who watches the crime channel all the time. She says the girlfriend is a psycho for driving away without the men. She says leaving the men behind in the big scary world was an act of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!!! She's right, right?
(DV Agent): "No. That woman on the internet is not right -- that bitch is straight up crazy. Psychos like her diminish true domestic violence victims. I just bet it's that aussiefriend woman again. Tell her she'd better not call here and tie up our lines with such blithering idiocy or I'll personally kick her ass into next week."

I'm on the line with them right now, on hold as usual. She had to go get her supervisor.
