Surgery tomorrow
#1
Getting my back fixed tomorrow, got a damaged disk pinching a nerve and making me walk like Quasimodo.
Hopefully that will be fixed. On the plus side, I got a scrip for Demerol.

I hope they're doing one of those "minimally invasive" procedures I keep hearing about on the radio. Tiny incision, laser correction and you're miraculously healed within a few days. Smiley_emoticons_slash Regardless, I wish you much success. Unfortunately, an acquaintance of mine had back surgery and still walks in an S shape and looks terribly uncomfortable. Back surgeries are tricky, I guess.

Good luck.

I love Demerol. Especially when they put it in your IV. Swallowing the pill is good, but when it goes in your veins it's the best. When my lung collapsed I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and that was the one time I knew what it felt like to be a junkie. I got it every three hours and watched the clock to remind them that my dose is due.

Good Luck, Six. I hope all goes well. That type of operation has diminishing returns if it has to be repeated and can result in fused vertebrae if it goes wrong. Hope the first time is the charm.

Good luck six! Had back surgery last January, went well so hope yours does too... waking up without the searing nerve pain is a treat.

May your doctors be skilled, your roommate be humorous, and your nurses sexy.

Good Luck Six. I sure hope your surgery cures the problem and goes smoothly. My mom had a bad experience with her back surgery and still has issues.
