I read another news story that made me think of you last week, Cars.

A couple bought a house in Annapolis, Maryland several months back. They heard what sounded like distant water and wind inside the house but didn't know what it was. When the weather warmed up, the couple began encountering coffee-ground stains and snakeskins in the basement, along with a distinct musk.



Then they discovered eight snakes in rapid succession in and on the house, shortly after which they contacted Home Paramount Pest Control. After crews gutted the basement and found a multitude of tunnels, they moved upstairs and encountered hordes of dens, further tunnels, and scat. The couple said they found eight snakes before vacating the home.

The couple has filed a lawsuit against the real estate agent for not disclosing the problem which reportedly had caused the previous owners to vacate the home. They claim that she also lied to them after they'd moved in when they asked her about snake infestation (she told them it was just a rumor).

Experts say snakes might start coming right back because of the scent that's present in the foundation now.

I hope the couple gets the $2 million they're seeking in the lawsuit. The snakes aren't deadly varieties, but it's a crock of shit that the couple, who has two infants, paid $400k for a house of snakes.

How come cat hoarders and snake house owners never get together. I've seen huge rat snakes like that on the railroad tracks them and hog nosed snakes. They like it there because the river is just over the embankment.
