what are you going to be for Halloween?

I fucking hate Halloween.
I haven't worn a costume in years.
The last time I "dressed up" for Halloween, I was a hobo. Hobo's are totally NOT p.c. or cute anymore...they're called "home challenged".
I did, however, decorate the yard today.

It's just another day. I don't get trick-or-treaters and most of the time around here it isn't even celebrated on the actual day.

The Ol and I have our costume's about finished. This year I am going as a perverted Professor and the OL is a naughty school girl. My name will be Professor Ray Shurgrade and the OL is Inita A. I know, I know the pervert part is a real stretch or me.

I just got a compliment from one of my neighbor's that my yard/decorations "made his grandson's day". That's all it takes...i'ma go buy more decorations.

I bought a couple new wreaths and pumpkins & mums. I haven't had time to pot the mums so the big wind blew mums around the patio, it also blew the wreath off the back door and tore the cover off the pergola. The stupid weather people told me the hurricane was moving out to sea so I didn't give my stuff another thought and now my backyard looks like white trash.

My yard. I think I was one of the first in our town to decorate. You can't really see all the crap and it looks better IRL but there you go. The orange pumpkin stakes are solar lights--they look cool at night.

Thank you and it was cheap!! We had some stuff but I bought a lot more at the Dollar Store. Each of those solar lights were a buck a piece. The orange skeleton hanging on the porch (from Grocery Outlet) was a whopping $9.99 (and it lights up and "talks" although I haven't turned it on yet...potentially annoying). I plan to go crazy there for Christmas too.

Thanks for humoring me! That must have been fun to do. If I got trick-or-treaters I would do something cool too AND I'd get in costume to hand out candy.

Sully is very down to earth. I don't much care for anything after the first album, but it's impressive that he recorded that album by himself.
