He's a clone of D Rose. Man, I just read that Derrick Rose is facing a civil suit by a former lover who says Rose and his friends gandg-raped her. She's looking for $21.5 million. It doesn't look like she filed criminal charges. Rose denies the allegation vehemently. I hope it's a bogus extortion attempt. But, if it is true, he's a vile piece of shit. The suit is expected to go to trial in October. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basket...-1.2684264

The Wolves got Kris Dunn.
Whether he stays with us is another story. Apparently, CHI & PHIL want him bad and are trying to pry him from us via trade.

If you keep Dunn, based on what I've read, he's expected to be just what the Wolves need; a great combo guard to partner with Wiggins on the wing. I think you'll end up keeping him.
The 76ers got first pick today and took Ben Simmons, LSU forward. According to the analysts, he has as much upside as anyone in the draft, and he could wind up a perennial All-Star. The last time the 76ers had the No. 1 pick they took Allen Iverson, damn good pick... The Lakers got the second pick and we grabbed forward Brandon Ingram from Duke. He's the youngest player in the draft at 18 and is being compared to Kevin Durant. We need a player like that with Kobe gone and the team in rebuild mode, with a first time head-coach to boot. I wish we had someone with a little more known leadership ability on the court. I'm not complaining though -- can't have it all (however you seem to have come pretty close with Dunn).

We're all nervously excited here.
Feels like we have an excess of riches in young players. This Dunn kid reminds me of a combination of D Wade, D Rose and John Wall. We also have a proven winner in Coach Thibs. I think our 12 year playoff drought ends this coming season.

That kinda surprised me; not sure about the fit even though I really like Durant. My comment about needing leadership on the court was in regards to the Lakers (the Lakers could really use someone like Durant).

Not enough basketballs for Durant, Steph, Klay & Co.
Not sure how it's going to work.

Depends on whether he checks his ego at the door. I wonder if they're anticipating losing somebody. Seems like an odd move for a young team that really is only gonna get better.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Harrison Barnes missed many open looks in games 5, 6 & 7, and the Warriors are thinking, if Durant was taking those shots, they'd have another Championship right now.

A couple of weeks after the Bulls traded Derrick Rose to the Knicks, the Bulls nabbed another big name player, Dwayne Wade.
Wade has played with The Heat for 13 years. Based on the comments I've read, Wade's teammates and the people of Miami are sad to see him go.

I am surprised I didn't get emotional when the game ended...I didn't turn soft until JR Smith's press conference. I'm kind of ashamed to say I didn't go to the parade. Had to work, ...not a big crowd person but I think I would have been more tolerant in this case lol..I'm counting on the next parade being a little less crazy |
