Yesterday I turned my air on for the first time this year. It got up to 85. In the space of 24 hours I had the heat on, the windows open aaaaand the air conditioning on. Freaky Eastern shore weather.

I come from a 4B but I live now in a 7B. It's hard to recall only having 3 frost free months a year.

Well I finally finished emptying my house in town out. It only took me 2 months to box. label and move everything to storage. Damn a guy accumulates a lot of shit in 25 years. Now all I have to do is remove two 50 foot towers [and all my ham radio antennas] and start painting the house. Hopefully I will sell it in short order and wont have to keep going back to town once a week to do lawn care.
So this means that you all might be stuck with me a lot more now that I am not working 7 days a week anymore.

Nothing great, just a lot of junk I hated to get rid of because you never know if you might need it. 2 dumpster loads to the dump thinned that out pretty quick though. hahaha

I think what took me the longest was labeling the boxes. If it is in the box it is written on 3 sides of the box as well as the top. I had a ¹⁄₂ dozen boxes open at all times and like items from the same room went in that box. It will be easy to find stuff when I get something done [adding more room!] with the lake house.

It took me over a week on just my gun room alone.

When I do that I bring a trailer full to goodwill or the salvation army for the charitable donation on my tax return. They let you tell them how much YOU think its worth. It saves the dump fee also.

The OL took 3 minivan loads to the open closet. The open closet is a org that gives the stuff free to needy people. We talked about good will but she decided to give it to someone that needed it rather than give it to a place that will sell it and make $
