Adopting a pet

Finally landed a rescue. I went down to Petsmart on Saturday where they were adopting pets from one of the rescue orgs that I had submitted several applications to. While I was in the process, I told the woman that was gathering the paperwork that I had applied for several pets on line but never got any response from them. She asked which pets I applied for, and I told her and she stated that all of the pets I applied for were adopted out of her foster care at that very location. At some point, some other ignorant woman butted into the conversation and yammered that I "still need to complete the adoption contract even though I had already applied on line for previous pets." I politely thanked her for her unhelpful information and continued with my complaint to the woman that was helping me adopt Loki. I explained that it doesn't make sense to do all of their business exclusively out of the Petsmart if they are also advertising adoptions online, they should at least look at the applications that have been submitted online and redirect those interested to the Petsmart where the pet is being adopted out. She said that she didn't have access to the online applications, she was just a foster provider for the pets. I asked who did have access and she pointed to the ignorant woman. So there you have it. Stupid bitches shouldn't run shelters.
