If it's your personal observation that 'HOTD is paranoid, HOTD thinks Trump staged the Chicago protest, and HOTD is always right'... your personal observation defies everything that I've posted and my nature, FAHQTOO. Your observation is definitely wrong, but it's no problem. I'm just setting the record straight.
I don't presume to tell people how FAHQTOO feels and thinks because I'm rarely irrational like that and I think you're perfectly capable of doing so for yourself. Different styles.
For the record, again....... I believe Trump has every right to run. I don't think he should be blocked from the nomination if he has the most delegates. I think the country can do better, but I'd reluctantly accept it if he became president. I don't think that some of the potentially harmful and ludicrous things he's said, unsaid and said again would likely come to pass because I think a Trump presidency would force the bipartisan congress to work together (for a change) to keep things reigned in, and I think our system of checks and balances works when our elected officials are doing their jobs...
I also think it's ignorant to believe that Trump denounces unnecessary physical encounters at rallies because he has, in fact, advocated them and it's all on tape and video. So, my observation is based on what I've been told directly from the source. I don't presume to know what he thinks and feels better than he himself.
Lastly, your observation on behalf of everyone -- that all of you think I'm always right -- is very nice, but it's clearly false. I admit when I'm wrong probably more than anyone in here, certainly more. I always like to set the record straight and I could point you to several posts just in the last month, but I won't. I just don't pretend to agree when I don't agree, especially with factual inaccuracies and intentional bullshit, and I like to back up my opposing opinions. That doesn't equate to always being right or thinking that I'm always right. It means that I don't talk out my ass as a matter of routine and I don't placate people as a matter of habit; I generally think more highly of people here than to do that.
P.s. Last I recall, you told us that you don't support Donald Trump; you haven't since summer. So, I don't know your reasons for being so defensive regarding Trump-related posts, but my posts on the topic aren't emotional or personal in nature.

You already said it wouldn't effect your life one way or another, sooo.....
Are you out of weed?
You fancy yourself a mind-reader now, FAHQTOO?
I don't have fears, much less paranoia, regarding a Trump nomination or presidency, as I've said for myself several times.
And you're off base about how I feel about the Chicago protest as well.
You should work on your telepathy, or stick to speaking for yourself...or just keep being presumptuous and wrong.
O.K. FQ, now I am paranoid, too....May I ask where you got your degree in Psychology? You, like many of "you people," project your fears onto others........and that is just another symptom of being a Trump lover. Baaa......baaaa...............baaaa.....baaaaaa
Why isn't it obvious to you that you are being conned? You seem to think you know how I feel about certain things.....and you are so off base, it is laughable....you don't get me at all, which makes me, ironically, understand a little more as to why you are so pro Trump. I do think there are too many smart, intelligent people in the US, who will not ever allow a liar, creep, warmonger, shit-stirrer, shyster, con man, cheater, bigot, racist, narcissistic man become President of this Country Would you like to make a bet? Your overuse of the word paranoia is noted and you need to find another word which better describes me and I would think about that carefully, before replying.....
Like I have said before, Trump talks the talk, but he will never walk the walk......None of what he is promising to do will come to fruition.......ever. We would have zero allies and we would all need bomb shelters to protect us from all the missiles coming from countries who are pissed at Donny.....

I was talking about this one.

Yeah, I remember that one, sal.
I didn't think anything of that face-off either.
It was a while back, not the one blueberry was talking about in her post which involved the Secret Service and Trump's claim that the protester was motivated by ISIS.

If you can show me where I said anything to you about the way you feel about the protests maybe we'll have something to discuss. I guess the few times I venture in here to throw my thoughts and opinions around have gotten some feelings hurt.
I'm not presuming anything. From my point of view.....you all sound paranoid. If I actually thought any of you gave two shits about what it looks like in my mind, I wouldn't have fucking said it in the first place.
Trump is not on the top of my list. He's the only one that's ever discussed in here so that's what I reply to. besides Hillary. The fact is for me, if Trump gets the nomination then that's who I'll vote for. That's what it's all going to come down to for all of us. I like some things about all of them and hate even more. My top pick at the moment is Rubio. Feel free to start a Thread about Rubio and watch it fade into the bowels of Mock by morning.

If I am paranoid, it is in the manner of Noam Chomsky, Umberto Eco, and Albert Einstein. There is even a relatively viral article going around by a Laurence Britt about the 14 commonalities of fascist state, but as his credentials are a little suspect I hesitate to refer to them. They are easy to find. Maybe you'd prefer to read the paranoia of the Pope with regard to our current political state.
That kind of company is the kind I prefer to keep. I guess I will stand by my previous assessments.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

But, I think it would be ignorant to believe that Trump objects to unnecessary physical confrontations when, in fact, I've watched/heard him rile his excited crowds of followers by imploring them to knock the crap/hell out of potential protesters, proclaiming that he wanted to punch a non-violent one in the face as the protester was already being escorted out by police, and telling them how he misses the good old days when protesters were carried out on stretchers.
I think he's entertainment material, not presidential, but I don't despise the man because I don't think Donald Trump talks or acts like anything other than Donald Trump. He is who he is and I do often agree with a lot of what he says. Do I think he's presidential material, no, but I don't think he would destroy the country because a small majority of nuts from both sides here take his shit talk too serious.

I was only responding to what you posted in this thread, about me, FAHQTOO -- nothing broader.
My response was in relation to your claim (or observation) that I feel paranoid, and what I read as your contention that I agree with Duchess's opinion/thought about the motive behind Trump's rally location choice.
Anyway, I've clarified how I feel and think, and I understand what you just posted. So, so that's that, as far as I'm concerned.
Rubio is a little too hawkish when it comes to foreign policy and his immaturity sometimes shows, in my opinion. I felt more positive about him at the start of the race than I do now, but all the candidates have their strengths and weaknesses and the last debate reminded me of what I like about him. Plus, he has an advantage over several of the candidates - he's way less likely to die of old age in office.
So, Rubio would be my second choice on the Republican side. I hope he wins Florida -- getting all those delegates would definitely keep him in the race and create some strong momentum. If he doesn't get the nomination in 2016, I feel certain we'll see him in 2020 or 2024. I hope by then he won't have to be so dependent on establishment backers, I don't think they've done him any favors. The times have changed.

I think you might be right about how destructive a Trump presidency would be and I've read several opinions by very credible sources who share your view.
Trump makes outrageous and false claims (and some true ones) which target large groups of people, and he has the support of more than just a handful of crazies, in my view.
Then, he often denies or changes what he said. And changes it again. Yet, there are large groups of citizens who believe Donald Trump is 'authentic'; people who seem as though they would go along with whatever he proposes. It's impossible to know where Trump really stands and I tend to put most weight on what people tell me and show me themselves over time. All of which makes the thought of a Trump presidency concerning to me and a lot of people in and outside of the U.S.
If there were a good number of Congresspersons who shared Trump's views and were anxious to support him, I'd probably be fearful of where Trump could lead our country. But, he is so widely contested by those with whom he'd be working that I think he'd be reigned in. I hope we don't find out though, and I still doubt that Donald Trump will win the general election if he wins the Republican nomination.

He's leading in Fl. too, which isn't really a surprise to me as it seems the wealthiest people support him along with the older people too.

The next election cycle looks good for a third party candidate.

Andrew Jackson had the Democrat party. I think we should come up with a cool name for a third party, maybe ..........nevermind.

I just don't think Trump is going to win in the majority of the Western states, but of course, I didn't think he would get this far, either.......
I keep thinking people will come to their senses....
He has really toned down his demeanor since his wife and daughter advised him to act more "Presidential." He has backtracked on some infamous outrageous statements, e.g., calling Sen McCain a loser for ending up as a POW in the Vietnam conflict....think he is realizing that if he is actually going all the way with this, he better stop being a 100% jerk....but still a jerk....
