If he went he would be vilified, when he didn't he was vilified. I don't see the reasoning why anyone expected him to go except to attack him because of it. And Lewis hated Trump at any rate. It's all good and gone now though.

I guess she likes the barren look. The cherry trees were beautiful especially when the blossoms turned white, what a shame.

She could have refrained from dickin' around with such an iconic garden and she choose not to. It was a deliberate slap in the face, she knew what she was doing.

I like the walkways, the pavement pattern is lovely but why the fuck would anyone remove healthy trees? It's not a "garden" anymore, it's too sterile for that.
