I'm proud they don't follow blindly like sheep. It would have been hypocritical of some to go. I'm glad they aren't going. trump is acting like a child by telling those who wanted to come, not to bother. They were dis-invited! Their invite was rescinded!

I don’t blame Trump for on inviting them. If the whole team is not coming, then I don’t want anyone coming.

It's totally acceptable and understandable for some players to decline the invitation.
Donald Trump lied about NFL players, called them unpatriotic, called them sons-of-bitches, recommended that they be fired..........all very publicly and all because he didn't like them demonstrating Constitutionally-guaranteed freedom of expression (which was not even prohibited by NFL policy at the time).
I think affected football players would have responded exactly the same way to such bullshit and unprofessional interference by Barack Obama or any other president, and it's quite understandable.
For offended players to go to the White House reluctantly and put on a display of fake respect would be condoning that shit and disrespecting themselves, in my opinion. Those who want to go should have gone, and those who don't want to go should have opted out.
Trump chose to cancel the event, thereby punishing those who wanted to be there simply because other team members chose not to go. That's petty on Trump's part, nobody else's.
Trump has chosen to refuse the invitation to the White House Correspondents Dinner two years in a row because he feels disrespected by some members of the media. Well, that's his right, same as the players' right not to accept his White House invitation. The hosts of the Dinner didn't cancel the event altogether and deprive everyone who wanted to go, however.

I don't know Mags.
The players who wanted to meet with Trump could publicly praise him and send him a nice letter in a gigantic envelope. That could get the president to uncancel the meeting.

Have said it before and now again, some of the Donald's positions have merit!
Unfortunately, the way he conducts many matters is absolutely "all wet"!

Yeah, he really outfoxed the left to get his border wall built, repeal Obamacare, put Hillary Clinton in jail............you know, those key campaign promises he peddled and repeated over and over and over to the far right.

Those particular campaign staples were aimed at his far right core base who swallowed them, not all Americans.
He managed to attract voters outside of that base with economic promises, commitments to evangelicals, and because he was not Hillary Clinton or 'establishment'.

It was all about the rise of political correctness and the hypocrites who determine what is correct. Do you think that a Latino who voted for Trump actually chooses to show what race they are? Maybe your 23% figure may be skewed a bit? Because you have no clue what makes Trump supporters tick. You seem like a nice person, I forgive you for your politics and would buy the next round of drinks.

Your comments often make clear to me that you don't know or understand my politics, Biggie. In any case, claiming that you forgive me for them is weird. But that wouldn't stop me from accepting free drinks.
And, I don't buy into baseless conspiracy theories....... like there are a bunch of Latinos who pretended not to be Latinos in order to vote for Trump, or that Trump lost the popular vote because millions of illegal immigrants voted for Clinton (despite solid evidence to the contrary). Ignorant stuff.
Also, I never referred to 23%. If you're talking about Trump's percentage of the Latino vote, it was 5% higher than that.

My point was Latinos that voted for Trump would be more inclined to not disclose ethnicity. It hopefully makes you realize that your data is corrupted like the polls that declared Hillary would win by a landslide.

Outfoxes? How about you back that up with some examples? 'K? I'm all but certain that your idea of outfoxes and mine are two wildly different things.
I don't care that you buy into his bullshit. It's okay.
