Thank you!
Sally, are you my friend that was looking for kitchen/food-related ornaments?

Yay! I love the ambience of Christmas lights. Are you going to have a tree?

I’ve always had a real tree, but last year I bought a flocked, snow dusted artificial tree. I put it up last night and thought it might have gotten messed up from being taken apart and sitting in a box for a year, but it went up in minutes and looks perfect. I’ll probably never buy a real tree again.

I’m not doing that shit ever again, what a pain in the ass. I was up in the tree wrapping lights around it until 3 in the morning and my husband came out and called me a crackhead. Plus we’re going to my brother in laws for two weeks for Christmas and New Years so I don’t need to decorate too much.

Why don’t you go light up a fucking tree then? A real tree. I did the bottom part and branches that I could reach and then got a hair up my ass and thought it would look amazing if I bought more lights and took them all the way to the top, I’m lucky I didn’t kill myself.

WEll
I was going to go get my tree today. I was so excited that I wouldn't be traipsing in the snow to get it dang Plus since I don't have a stand I have to use a bucket filled with rocks and I didn't get the rocks yet I need a sled

I think it would be so fun to go out and chop down the Christmas tree in the snow!

Duchess,
I don't know how to put Christmas lights on a tree. I feel so dumb. I've always started at the outlet, apparently that isn't the right way to do it. Also since I have my tree on the porch-the outlet is in the middle of the wall-and that means I am starting the strand in the middle of the tree. I have 4 strands of lights to go on to this 9 foot tree. Going to youtube to figure out the best way to do lights.

Also, i need a step stool. Also I don't know if I can put the tree in the house because I don't know what the cat will do to it. Strangely so he has left the decorations on the window alone for the most part. The tree would look gorgeous inside. For now it is on the porch.

I don't think you should take it for granted that the cat will fuck with your tree. I say it like that because I've always had cat/cats and only one time did any of them ever mess around with my tree and Chewie brought it down. It scared him so badly he never did anything like that again. I have a little psycho right now and the most she does is bat at one of the glass icicles as she walks by. |
