Stem cell gun
#1
I am a huge advocate for stem cell research and treatments. Check out the link below. New technology that can heal burn victims in days (yes days) and not even leave a scar. Stem cells are the future folks.

It would be amazing/wonderful if this Therapy really can help COPD patients. It has been said it can help rebuild damaged lung tissue, sure hope so.

New Stem Cell therapy for people with COPD

Swiss Medica Clinic has developed the Adult Autologous Stem Cell Therapy program to treat a variety of conditions. During stem cell treatment a patient receives 200 – 300 million stem cells. The quantity of restored cells not only covers daily losses, but exceeds them a thousand times. Thus, the reserve of the stem cells, practically lost for the latest 15 – 20 years, is restored. After such an active cell replenishment, organ gets rejuvenated and renewed, because the new and active cells displace the old and damaged ones.

I hope millenials take this idea and make stem cell slushies with cool names like Immortality Brain Freeze or Mangomortality.

Renova is still awaiting FDA approval in order for the device to be used for routine treatment. Once approval has been granted, Renova will seek similar approvals to operate in Europe. To date (as of Feb. 2018) 72 patients in Pittsburgh (US) and Berlin (EU) have reported a 100% recovery in just days. One patient who suffered 2nd degree burns over the right side of his body said "If I show someone where I was burnt, I bet $100,00 they couldn't tell... It's like the burn never happened."

That is amazing!
It is surprising that the media has not grabbed onto this and run with it to put it in the spotlight it sounds like it deserves!!!

The media did run with it back in 2011 when the technology was introduced. Unfortunately, FDA licensure is a very long process and if you're not familiar with the process the FDA will kick it back. I suspect that's what is holding it up.
