. . . . . . . . . . . That on this momentous "75"th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day, no horrendous despicable actions took place in USA!

Now sittin' curbside on Kalakaua waiting for the parade to begin at 6 PM.
Lt. Dan is the Parade Marshall.
Just left the Army's celebration at Fort Derussy. Never saw so many Generals in one place.
My brother was talking story with a guy getting out of a vintage VW van (1970). Calls me over and introduces me to 4 star General Brown . . . the owner of the van and Pacific Commander!
Six howitzers fired a twenty one gun salute in downtown Waikiki. Scared the shit out of the tourists.
The best was at Pearl. Never felt so good about being an American.
These kids in uniform deserve our thanks and respect.
And the Pac Fleet Admiral . . . I'd follow him into battle. More on that later.
Hung with Gordon Sage and Lauren Bruner . . . both USS Arizona survivors. My one brother met Lauren at a UofA football game, as both were guests of the Athletic Director (old friend of the family).
So glad my 89 year old Mum is healthy, spry and is able to travel the world.
This trip was originally for her and somehow her kids were the ones ending up crying and filled with pride.
Thanks to all who served and continue to serve.
And those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
