Where is Sally? Did I read that she bought a house? Why? Did she leave her husband yet??? Why not? (because of the kids. I know)

It's been a while since I walked on the tracks. I see plenty of nature there. As soon as I get my shit together I'm gonna go again walking. Sometimes I even go into work late because of it. It's about a 3 mile trek.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

The reason I did it is because my husband's brother is building a million dollar house and he cant have his little brother outdoing him. We have the money to do it, but we will have to refinance our current home which I'm not a 100% comfortable with. Right now we have no debt at all. On the other hand I can imagine the awesome house. I'll be like the housewives of daytona beach except not on crack.

How far away from your current house is the lot? I hope the price of wood comes down before you start building.

If the cost of wood doesn't adjust to the times, there are always alternatives for
cost cutting, like possibly using metal studs & beams where possible. According to the HomeDepot.com website (Michigan), as of April 13, 2021, a traditional whitewood 2x4x8 was selling for $6.85 while the equivalent metal stud was $4.38. (As an aside, termites are a major concern in many SNAKEland (I HATE SNAKES) areas! Metal not affected)

It's good, but more importantly, it's easy.

It is quite healthy and easy to cook though. If you want to kick up the health factor even more, it goes well with ginger and cinnamon. You can also bake it and serve with marinara and parmesan just like spaghetti.
