I just read about it aussie.
Same old shit. I don't think it has much to do with the November midterms though. Trump characterized the free press as "very unfair" to him and has positioned reporters who report negative news about him as "enemies of the people" since the start of his campaign and he hasn't stopped. Sanders does the same as his press secretary.
I think it's whiny and dangerous. The free press -- like the independent judiciary -- is essential to democracies. The press is certainly not the enemy of the people just because they're not always favorable to Trump.
Trump wants to control the narrative at all times. He's got Twitter, several programs on FOX News, a number of conservative AM radio personalities, and a few print outlets that cater to his narrative -- primarily the same sources that made questioning Obama's birth and the tragedy in Benghazi under Hillary Clinton's SoS tenure the crux of their focus for years on end. If they honestly cite the facts and then clearly state their opinions about them, it's one thing. But, too many of them present falsehoods and biased opinions as facts.
CNN reports the facts and labels opinion as such, from what I've watched. And, they have a lot of Trump supporters on panels when they assess and comment on the factual news. But, I got tired of listening to them going on for days about stupid shit that Trump has said when it really had no consequence as to policy or any potential negative impact on the public.
Anyway, Jim Acosta is just a standard reporter. But, he's become the target of Trump and company. I haven't heard him whine about it though. He just keeps doing his job, from what I've seen. Good for him.

I get that he wants to control, but he's a retard. His grammar is a disgrace. It's obvious the level of IQ or intellect is poor. I'm sure he thinks he is a genius though. All that money has made him out of touch with reality. He shouldn't have entered politics, he makes a fool of himself on a daily basis.

He doesn't see that. I think he views himself as king of the world. He doesn't feel things that others do, no shame, no guilt, no empathy. He simply doesn't care nor do those who support him. They see & hear the same things all of us do in regards to the lies & the grifting but it's irrelevant to them and some of the shit is downright bizarre. Every now & then journalists will interview his supporters and one that sticks out in my mind is the older woman who went to his inauguration, it was drizzling at times and she had a poncho on and when the journalist asked her about trump saying the sun was shining she agreed that it was, no matter that at the time she was wearing a wet poncho. She went on to say that she believes him above anyone else. It sounds outrageous & far fetched to refer to them as a cult but many sure do have that characteristic. It's just so fuckin' weird.

Mannafort and Page and Flynn and Junior do not appear to within this scope from what has been put to them. He is simply trying to search for anything to charge them with regardless if it is without that agenda or not. He also seems to not focus on all parties but rather the trump campaign though there is no reason to do so and doubly so now the FISA warrant and dossier are discredited.
Oh, that's different than what you originally posted.
In any case, as per Mueller's scope, Manafort's alleged financial crimes were uncovered during the Russia Interference investigation. Since they weren't directly related to Russia's interference in the election, Mueller's team referred the matter to the appropriate state prosecutors for investigation. Those prosecutors got probable cause and collected evidence of alleged crimes, charged him and now he's on trial. As it should be.
As with Manafort, Michael Cohen came up during Mueller's investigation and potential crimes were uncovered. Since those crimes aren't directly related to Russia interference, Mueller's team referred them to state prosecutors. He hasn't been charged with any crimes yet, but I think he surely will be. We'll see.
Michael Flynn lied to federal investigators and congress about not talking with Russian officials about lifting sanctions prior to Trump taking office. I don't know if there was any talk about quid pro quo during that discussion. But, we know Flynn lied as he has pleaded guilty to lying. And, President Trump contends that's why Flynn was ousted -- lying about Russian communications to investigators and VP Pence.
Junior has been questioned, which to me was only common sense and unavoidable. He met with a Kremlin-backed Russian lawyer who offered dirt on Hillary Clinton -- that obviously would likely come up in an investigation related to Russia interference. The reason for that meeting has been undisputed since emails showed that his original 'it was only about adoption' story was false. He said he forgot. We also know that Donald Trump lied when he said Junior came up with the adoption narrative because President Trump's attorney has since told us that it was Donald Trump who dictated that narrative. However, Junior hasn't been charged with lying to investigators or violating federal election laws at this point. Maybe he will and maybe he won't, depending on intent and evidence. If he is charged, he'll be entitled to a fair trial just like anyone else.
The FISA warrants haven't been discredited, but I won’t argue the point.
I think on most points we kind of find set positions I see differently to you and some we agree on. I am glad to consider reasonable positions like your own without feeling obliged to disparage nor agree with it. Happy to agree to disagree to.
One point here you made though. About "Presidential manner". I think we both intrinsically understand what this means and it is not any manner you have when you are a President. Trump does not have that. You and I agree with this.
It is not that I do not care, or do not think it is important. This I wanted to point out. I would much rather he had the poise, grace, articulation and quiet demeanor of Obama. Honestly I would. But I would not swap that out for the positives I see.
I am prepared to facepalm occasionally and cringe and feel a little incredulous on occasion. If the results of his Presidency are justifications for this. It is not that I do not care or I devalue these things. They will always matter and should.
That is it anyhow. It is fair semantic a point, it was clarity more than anything.

"Presidential Decorum" is certainly not one of the Donald's strong suites! That is unfortunate for us all.
However, have said it before, and now again, many of his policy's do have merit! Many people still favor him.
So what do you think, does the Donald have a chance of seeing a second term?

Absolutely! Take the emotion out of it and look at hard and fast facts.
Who is the leader of the Democratic party? Who is the leader of the Republican Party?
Are the Democrats Progressives or Establishment Liberals?
Who is best primed to take on Trump at this stage?
How corrupt is their national committee?
How much in debt is the DNC and the RNC? How big is the war chest?
What percentage of Conservatives are behind Donald Trump?
How is the economy?
How are his policies going?
these are hard and fast realities. You may hate him or mentally rule him out as out of the running for a second term, but I will tell you he looks pretty good based on this above Can change absolutely....BUT right now?

The candidates that Trump backs are winning. The candidates that Obama backed were losing, so much so that they would distance themselves from him.
Trumps delivery is not the greatest like a right handed pitcher throwing lefty, but he strikes the batter out usually so the end result is good.

I have mixed feelings on the Trumpster!
I can not stand His spoiled brat, boorish, rude, un-caring, manipulating the truth, child like antics, that are not befitting the POTUS. He sorely needs people/social skills training. He's embarrassing us!
However, I can stand his handling of getting countries to pay their fair share of UN costs, his getting more US equitable trade tariffs put into effect, his reeling in Kim Jung Un, his getting US companies to come back to US soil, his increasing well paying Jobs, his revamping/undoing Obamacare, his remaking the justice system, his rewriting environmental rules, his overhauling public-lands administration, his green lighting major infrastructure projects, his tax reform, his affect on stock market flourishing, his causing Border crossings to plummet, to name a few.
He's so bad, and good at the same time.

How has he reeled in Kim Jung Un? What US companies are returning to make & sell their product here? What is the upside of rewriting environmental rules, elaborate, please. What major infrastructure projects have been green lighted? Where are the well paying jobs he has increased and who is benefiting from them?

Tried another website this time, same "personal" info came up, again deleted links.
Type Trumps POTUS accomplishments on the web, and "really", they (many) do come up.

Trump has accomplished quite a bit that the media has blacked out. Rather than report on the accomplishments they prefer to center on the legal battles that the Democratic machine has created. Most of the violence at these rallies come from the left and is not reported. The last rally was interrupted by the leftist thugs trying to create a bad atmosphere. The police saw who it was that was starting the problems reacted and now they (the police) are getting attacked by the ACLU. Again the leftist instigating violence. The same leftist troublemakers that leave trash everywhere when they gather. It's pitiful.

I can't wait for this 'POLITICAL NIGHTMARE' to conclude and we get a President who is worthy of the office. And I don't mean Hillary.

You can be sure that no matter who is put against Trump they will be spoon fed intelligence by CNN. Much like Donna Brazil spoon fed the debate questions to Clinton. It was about ready to be let out so they had to admit to it, Clinton never said a word about it and she would have rather it was swept under the rug like so many of her other escapades. The Democrat machine at it's finest and it continues today. If it wasn't Mueller it would be someone else. I predict Trump will continue to face the machine head on throughout his presidency they are that pitifully and morally corrupt.

Special Counsel Mueller sure is baggin' a lot of witches in this witch hunt, guilty pleas and all.
Given you find morally corruptness such a turn off how do you justify trump? Genuinely curious.

The dude that exposed Nixon, is it Bernstein? Well, he was on CNN yesterday and said that Nixon was worried, but not unhinged the way Trump currently is. I don't think Trump wants this gig anymore, and he wants out.
