I'm so pumped for this game. Outta my mind with excitement and it's really hard to keep it all contained when I want to run through my house screaming like that little blonde kid in Home Alone.

I’m gonna jinx my own squad.
Vikes 24, Eagles 17 Jags 23, Pats 19 This Brady ‘hand injury’ could be a smoke screen, but I don’t think so. Why would Belichek feel the need to fake out the Jags? Jax is going to hit Brady and pick him off a couple of times. Vikes/Eagles is going over the total (38.5) with a handful of big plays. I feel like Minny makes a couple more and then the country gets Jags/Vikings.

I have put just a bandaid on a 4 stitch cut quite a few times. He will be fine, I'm happy you predicted this outcome, I have a peaceful easy feeling knowing this. The Pats are just letting the media run amuck like they always do.

Just saw a dubious statistic (which I already knew) on the NFL Network.
Since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, the Vikings and Eagles have the top 2 winning percentages of teams that have not won a Super Bowl. Like I said earlier, if my Vikes can’t get it done, Go Eagles!

Hey MS, I just saw the Philly news covering the arrival of Vikings fans at Philly International. There are at least 2 chartered flights arriving today. It looks like you will be well represented. ETA:...and they just showed the Rocky statue in front of the art museum dressed in Viking colors. Rocky was vandalized!

My Vikings fans are real good fans, travel well, however, I know Philly fans (at least at the stadium) can be a little rough around the edges.
Hope it stays civil. Good luck today. Remember, the main goal (beyond on our own clubs) is to ensure the Pats don’t win another one. j/k Maggs, we all know your club will be hoisting the Lombardi once again.

They had a lot of fans to welcome them and unfortunately there were some boo'ers as well. I cringed. It was crass given it's the City of brotherly love and all that. I've seen some ah-mazing tailgating set ups. The food looks fantastic and there's everything from a tailgate on a pickup to big elaborate RV's all decked out in Eagles colors and gear. That's not unusual though. Even when we aren't doing so well our parking lots & stadiums are filled fans. Such a fun day in January! Maggot gets to experience this every year. I don't.

I consider it the last holiday before the long drawn out winter becomes a reality. After the Superbowl things get glum and all I can think about is Spring. I guess it's back to playing darts, listening to music and drinking whiskey. The playoffs are a good distraction.

Too bad we don't have any Jags fans, but anyway...gentlemen, we're the final four. THE FINAL FOUR. *high five* I so much appreciate the hard work that went into getting me here. I have much love for my team.

Refs bailing out NE.... AGAIN!!
Jax punching them in the mouth and then, voila, the League decides No Jax in Minny, so here come the phantom flags. Maggs, what’s it like to live the pampered life?
01-21-2018, 06:40 PM
Well, Maggs, you couldn’t have asked for anything else:
6:21 to go, the G.O.A.T. at the helm and all you need is a TD to win.

I'm glad, it looked shaky for a bit there and I was chewing on my cup, it was a great game and the Jags did a great job. Here we go 6x and for the gold...........next!

To lose in this manner is just shocking.
Congrats Eagles fans!

I’m searching for answers, but just can’t find any... other than my team was just not that good all along.
Overachieved. Maybe a bit of an emotional letdown, the Pick-6 and the strip sack fumble all played a part. Nick Foles was superb, but more importantly, the game plan offensively was outstanding.

For weeks now I've heard that our teams were mirror images of each other and that you guys were our only competition. I believed that. I thought Nick was flawless. He was everything I hoped he would be and then some. I'm so proud of my team. Outside of the fan base no one gave us a shot at this, no one. Who the hell has ever heard of a #1 seed underdog for christssake. We will be going into our final game as the under dog again. Woof. Wishin' I could play hooky today. |
