Exactly like that.

I'm wondering if all this will give pause to the many men who are doing this or would consider doing it in the future.

Except for ones that are complete idiots or have serious sexual behavior disorders, I think so.

The Weinstein revelations feel like the straw that broke the camel's back when it comes to women (and some good men) tolerating sexual harassment and assault, overlooking it, enabling it, or jumping into blame/smear the victims mode.

On a related note, I saw a clip of Bill O'Reilly being interviewed the other day. O'Reilly was insulted to be compared to Weinsten. Haha, if the shoe fits.

O'Reilly went so far as to blame God, he said he's mad at God and he wishes he'd been better protected. Always positioning himself as the victim. "It's the media's fault!", "it's the women's fault!", "it's God's fault!"

He (and/or FOX on his behalf) has paid out at least $44 million in sexual harassment settlements with at least 6 women over the years. FOX even had to add a clause to his last contract with the network -- it stated that his employment was contingent on no further sexual harassment incidents.

O'Reilly, who often lectured his audiences on how most of society's problems can be attributed to lack of personal responsibility, is such a spineless hypocrite in my opinion.

Blaming God takes the cake. Jesus. Also he whined about the effects of all this on his kids and blamed the media. Absolutely unreal. No personal responsibility at all.

Several male actors have spoken out about being sexually harassed now too.

For years, Cory Feldman has been claiming that he and Cory Haim were sexually abused by powerful men in Hollywood when they were child stars.

He never names names though and I think the fact that he’s sometimes erratic makes it difficult for many people to have confidence in his story. After the Weinstein revelations, he started asking for donations to produce an expose and now claims someone is out to kill him.

Tom Jones, James Van Der Beek, and a few other men have recently told their harassment stories. One of them is actor Anthony Rapp. He says that Kevin Spacey was drunk and tried to seduce him when Rapp was 14.

Spacey has apologized, says he doesn’t remember the incident, and used the scandal to come out as gay. I don’t think this will end well for Spacey.

Oh, I'm being accused of something horrible? Here's my halfhearted apology that I don't mean, and did I mention I'm gay? Or that we should refocus our efforts against the NRA?

These Hollywood scum are really too much.

Yeah, weak apology and deflection attempts. There’s a whole lot of that going around these days.

Betting more Spacey accusers will come forward. I wish it weren’t true.

I like Kevin Spacey as an actor, but I think we’re past the point of people generally overlooking this kind of shit just because someone is high profile and helps rake in lots of revenue.

Yeah, I agree. It really feels like the bricks are popping out of the dam wall, and it's about to burst in Hollywood. Which will be a good thing.

Revolting bastards. All of them who put their hands on someone without being invited to do so. Jesus.

It goes way beyond Hollywood, cable news. and modeling industries.

We’re just hearing more about sexual harassment and assault in those industries because we’re familiar with the accusers and those being accused.

It's everywhere. I think every female in here has been through it herself or knows someone who has. That's just my opinion.

Netflix pulled the plug on House of Cards after the next season.

I'm sure everyone else who was employed on that production appreciates Kevin Spacey getting them permanent time off.

Another one bites the dust...

Best selling author and journalist Mark Halperin has now been accused by a dozen women of sexual harassment. His current employer, NBC, just axed him.

Here's the public statement Halperin released on Friday.

I am profoundly sorry for the pain and anguish I have caused by my past actions. I apologize sincerely to the women I mistreated.

The world is now publicly acknowledging what so many women have long known: Men harm women in the workplace. That new awareness is, of course, a positive development. For a long time at ABC News, I was part of the problem. I acknowledge that, and I deeply regret it. As I said earlier in the week, my behavior was wrong. It caused fear and anxiety for women who were only seeking to do their jobs.

In recent days I have closely read the accounts of women with whom I worked at ABC News. I have not read these accounts looking for discrepancies or inconsistencies. Instead, in almost every case, I have recognized conduct for which I feel profound guilt and responsibility, some involving junior ABC News personnel and women just starting out in the news business.

Many of the accounts conveyed by journalists working on stories about me or that I have read after publication have not been particularly detailed (and many were anonymous) making it difficult for me to address certain specifics. But make no mistake: I fully acknowledge and apologize for conduct that was often aggressive and crude.

Towards the end of my time at ABC News, I recognized I had a problem. No one had sued me, no one had filed a human resources complaint against me, no colleague had confronted me. But I didn't need a call from HR to know that I was a selfish, immature person, who was behaving in a manner that had to stop.

For several years around my departure from ABC News, I had weekly counseling sessions to work on understanding the personal issues and attitudes that caused me to behave in such an inappropriate manner.

Those who have worked with me in the past decade know that my conduct in subsequent jobs at TIME, Bloomberg, NBC News, and Showtime has not been what it was at ABC. I did not engage in improper behavior with colleagues or subordinates. If you spoke to my co-workers in those four places (men and women alike), I am confident you would find that I had a very different reputation than I had at ABC News because I conducted myself in a very different manner.

Some of the allegations that have been made against me are not true. But I realize that is a small point in the scheme of things. Again, I bear responsibility for my outrageous conduct at ABC News.

I hope that not only will women going forward be more confident in speaking up, but also that we as an industry and society can create an atmosphere that no longer tolerates this kind of behavior. I know I can never do enough to make up for the harm I caused. I will be spending time with my family and friends, as I work to make amends and contributions both large and small.

Spacey sure plays a creepy, bi-sexual President in House Of Cards.

Doesn’t shock me at all that he prefers the shlong over the beav.

In this case, the allegation is that powerful men plied juvenile males with alcohol and drugs and sexually abused them.

Obviously, if a juvenile (or adult) gets sexually harassed or abused by someone of the same sex, it doesn't make them someone who likes or prefers people of the same sex, you weirdo.

Do you think all those boys molested by Catholic priests were clearly switch hitters too MS?
