NFL 2018

Sometimes it's hard to say goodbye. I really liked Beau Allen, he was a big, funny kid and a perfect Eagle. He always made me smile when he'd tie his long hair back with a pink ribbon, the big, goofy kid with a pink ribbon in his hair. *snorts* Loved him.

Went to Minnetonka HS.

I know a couple of kids who’ll be attending that same school.

Doesn't 13 of Minnesota attend that HS? It's like the biggest HS in Minny isn't it? It's Minnetonka, Eden Prairie and one other school if I'm not mistaken. My old boss went to Eden Prairie. She's lived in Az for like 30 years, but get a couple of margaritas in her and the accent flows like the memories - Don't ya know? hah

It was actually a done deal then (we won the superbowl remember?) the ink just wasn't dry yet. And yeah, he's not missing any meals.

I can't count on anything until it's signed on the dotted line & made official.

Ya, you betcha.

Eden Prairie is the biggest, then Minnetonka, Edina, Wayzata and Bloomington Jefferson are next.

You’ve got the Lakeville schools and Apple Valley that have big enrollments.

Tonka hockey just won their 1st ever State HS Hockey Championship this past weekend.

A pretty big deal.

MS, I just read a rumor that my Birds will be hosting your Vikings in our first game to kick off the season on September 6, it's a Thursday night game. This can't be confirmed until the schedule is released so take it for what it's worth.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all.

The NFL looks at Philly’s 8 home games and wants to pick the most exciting one to kick off the season.

We now have a new QB so it will be intriguing.

Hope my guys are better prepared this time around.

MS, I’ve got a feeling you’re going to be breathing down my neck all season, or vice versus.

That’ll teach me to read the sports pages in bed.

I must say that I’m honored that you’re in bed and you’re thinking of me (well, my team at least).

It sounds pretty darn near certain that the Vikes will open up in Philly. I don’t feel good about that rematch at the moment.

I hope we’re good again this year, but with a healthy Aaron Rodgers back in the division and the difficulty of our schedule, I’d feel good if we somehow won 10 games and snuck out a Wild Card berth.

Sweet dreams!

In bed at 7:30 on a Saturday night. Jesus. Could I be any more boring.

OBJ is holding out for more money. Hmmm. Will the Giants give him what he wants?

He’s their only play-maker.

Better pay him.

They need so much to become relevant again. He may be pumping up his payday in order to get out of Dodge. Eli may have a few years left in him, but they need to find their next franchise QB. They also need an O-Line, D-Line, Backfield on both sides of the ball and some changes in the linebacker coprs. Quite honestly I don't see them doing anything notable for the next three years, so maybe it's time to just clean house and start fresh.

I watched this mini-series type thing on Tom Brady. He produced it, he controls it and it took place over this past season. I watched every episode and I think it's interesting, it gave me a lot of insight into what makes him tick. He is super dedicated to football and his body, he walks the walk for sure & it requires a great deal of sacrifice. One can think they know what that means but until you've seen it in action I don't think you really can. Ewww, that sounded so presumptuous of me.

Google Tom vs time facebook and it will take you right to it. The segments are short, right around 15 minutes.

Wish one of my guys would have filmed something similar.

MS, are you familiar with linebacker Paul Worrilow?

After typing that ^^^^ I went to look for some info on him. I was trying to avoid asking a stupid question before I actually put it out there and I discovered he was a star at the University of Delaware. Ha!

Not familiar with him.

Is it official yet? Are the Vikings visiting Philly opening night of the season?

Bennet's sister posted up a video on twitter of the supposed incident that got Bennet indicted... Not much to see there really. No altercation, nobody resisting their access to the field. This is looking like an attempt at a cash grab.
