hah I wonder if the cat does that to his owners too. Just sitting there watching tv and the cat comes up and sucker punches you in the face.

I love that! Ahahahaha! Chewie has a double whack and it makes me laugh every time he breaks it out. Actually, I take that back, lately he's been a bully to one of the outdoor cats and it makes me a little irate to see him do it to that sweet little cat.

Man, Socks has a mean right hook and a mean left hook.  That's wild.  I've never seen a cat slug away like that.

Strictly dog people would say that cats don't have personality but they do and like ours, none of them are the same.

The cat I am watching now is an asshole.

I have never had a cat like this before. It is terrible. And humbling. He is not acclimated to people at all. Yesterday when I got home I took off my socks and shoes-it is practically summer/spring weather-and it felt good to take them off-he attacked my feet! So today I left my socks on-and he still attacked my feet. Fucker.

My cat does that to everyone except me. She tried it once and I scooped her with my foot and tossed her into the couch from across the room.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Well, Spring was kinda made for pussy-footing around.  ')

My niece's cats aren't really assholes, but I sometimes get frustrated by how much my life is affect by them.

The female went missing for 13 days just after we moved in.  Fortunately, she made it back fine (but much skinnier).

We could not figure out how she pulled a runner because we're very careful with the doors and hadn't left them open; they're house/garage cats only.

Anyway, early last week, the mystery was solved.  We couldn't find Latte to put her in the kennel before exiting the garage, so we assumed she was hiding in the house.

So, we're on our way to Safeway and suddenly we hear meowing, but she wasn't inside the truck.

I pulled into the church parking lot around the corner.  We looked in the truck bed and under the truck.  Nothing.  Then I honked the horn and she meowed again.  She was under the fucking hood of the car, in the engine.

Since then, the male cat has been going up in there too and neither of them will come out on their own when I honk the horn in the garage.  We have to open the hood and fish them out.

Cats are weird.

The bird hides under the furniture and comes running out to attack your feet. I think it's probably worse than a cat because her beak is like a fucking can opener. That bird is a douche.

I'm glad your cat came back HotD! That is great news!
Wierd about the engine-I wonder if they followed a mouse up there?
In cold climate areas some people pound on the hood of their vehicle to get the cats to come out-strange that you have 2 that won't come out from a horn honking.

That's so wonderful to read! I missed it completely when you posted it and I still wouldn't have known Latte came back but I just saw Love Child comment on her. I'm so happy for your niece, I really am.

I have a scar on my middle finger from when my bird bit me.

I have a second scar on the ring finger from opening a can of cat food when my cat was meowing so loud. I was yelling, "FINE! I'll FEED YOU!" I ripped that can open and my finger at the same time. The cat saw the blood and went and hid.

The cat is still an asshole, but at least I am not dog sitting now.

No thank you.

The cat finally went back home. I will never do that again. Watch a cat or animal w/out first meeting it. Big mistake.

That was my point to the owners of the cat. I said, "Taking care of a cat should not be hard"

This one was fucked up and they knew it. They didn't tell me that they let it scratch and bite and dont' do anything to discipline it at all. I sprayed it with water and got him to stop for the most part. He also was used to someone being at home most of the time, so when I was gone for a long time and would get home he was pissed.

He was calm at times, but he wasn't well taken care of unfortunately.
