They are nice as pets, until we need them as food. And the other ones are ... food.
If you have religious belief you therefore believe animals have souls. Those who believe know this to be true because they believe animals cannot get into Heaven because they don't have a soul which in turn is proven wrong by the fact Jesus came back to earth on a winged horse in the book of Revelations. If the horse was there, so were all the others.
Now those who don't fall into this silliness but want to believe they do, then that's fine by me too. It's a silly debate. We all know it's silly and this will go round and round in circles going nowhere like all such debates do.
As for Liquid's reply quoted above..... by your theory will will shortly starve ourselves out of existence.If we start eating every lower level living thing around us, then probably cannibalizing each other.Human nature such as it is, with our greed and destructive nature will surely eat everything until there is no more but ourselves. We're greedy and will want more. There will never be enough as we've proven that time and again.

Sally, I found it funny that you would take the soul bullshit to the next level of discussing our rights to take it "away from animals."

"The owl will nest there and lay eggs,
she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings;
there also the falcons will gather,
each with its mate.
Search in the Lord's book of living creatures and read what it says. Not one of these creatures will be missing and not one will be without its mate. The Lord has commanded it to be so; He Himself will bring them together. It is the Lord who will divide the land among them and give each of them a share. They will live in the land age after age, and it will belong to them for ever." Isaiah 34:15, 16, 1
"A good man takes care of his animals but wicked men are cruel to theirs." Proverbs 12:10

Sweet Zombie Jebus!
Finally the evidence we needed to label you a complete fucking gullible retard for the rest of your life.
A boring, dull soup chicken, who is also a demented god botherer!?
Thanks for giving me at least another 50 posts of new material to work with you stupid bitch.
::lmao::::lmao::::lmao::
Youstupid fuckinghamster breeder. Why don't you go to the library, brush up on your ignorance, and learn how to read while you're there. It does not make me gullible because I choose to believe in a creator. I never said that Ifollowed the bible orreligion. Iposted that quotebecause I believea higher power exists andcreated the world, leaving it tooperate on its own.
I don't think humans have a right to claima souland deny it to animals since we reallyare alljust animals here. If anyone even has a soul that is, but I suppose you would have the answer to that because you are Jesus Christ himself ::rollseyes::::finger::
I always doubt everything you post because as we all know you are a compulsive liar.
I have read more books than you have had hot dinners and cocks in your arse combined, I have read the bible several times and found it to be increasingly hilarious and stupid after each read.
The fact you believe in a magic man in the clouds who created everything using his magical powers speaks volumes. Your views on theology and creation are just as soup chickeny (a new verb!) as everything else about you bitch.

You either have no reading comprehension skills or you are just alying little prick trying to prove some kind of point by putting words in my mouth. I never said that I believed in a magic man in the clouds or believed the bible to be anything other than a fairy tale.
I really don'tcare what you thinkof my views on creation anyway. I suppose your views on creation and the afterlife may be credible, however, since you're the one who talks to dead people. Why don't you go take the hamsters for a walk and get out of the basement you crazy fuck.

Do snails and slugs have souls? I don't believe anything has a soul that goes on to live after death whether it had personality and thoughts or not. I think once you are dead then you simply don't exist anymore, the same way you didn't exist before you were born.

I don't believe in it...If I did, it would scare the crap outta me...I'd be worried I'd come back in Calcutta or someplace equally as awful...Gives me the willies just contemplating it.
I'm open to the possibility but I think the world's in such a downward spiral, that anything besides an earthworm would have a pretty shitty life.
I was going to say something like a dolphin or otter, but their life expectancies have sharply declined.

What would you like to come back as, if you had a second chance on this planet !!!!! I think that 'reincarnation' stories are explained by genetic memory. The same way that all animals have certain behaviors by 'instinct', which are not 'learned' behavior, rather it's actually passed down through the genetic materials of all of their ancestors. If instinctual behavior can be passed along genetically, why not certain other bits and pieces of historical memories? I just think that some people manage to tap into those memories once in a blue moon. Well, that combined with good imaginations.
