I like ordering weird booze online so I bought different flavors of moonshine in mini bottles.
I got three different flavors (six in each), a free mystery mini and a mason jar of peaches in moonshine. So that's 19 mini bottles and a jar of peaches.
How the fuck does the package end up being 31 pounds? I even contacted the store and they confirmed that's the correct shipping weight.

More like the whole damn arm. Shipping was free though, fortunately.
If anyone's interested, they've got a bunch of interesting flavors. Pickles in moonshine!

50 people put in 5.00 per week and everyone has a number mine is 50 so the two middle numbers of the thursday pick 4 were mine so I won. it rolls over quite a bit and I've seen it go to over 2000.00 before hypothetically.

Did you try any of them yet? They look pretty good.
I used to have office supplies delivered sometimes and wondered why the shipping weight was so much higher than the actual weight of the contents.
The shipping weight is often different than the actual weight because the courier uses a billable rate formula based on package dimensions.
The dimensional weight (cubic size x length/height/width, IIRC) more accurately reflects the cost to the courier, from what I was told.

On a boozy related note...........my mom usually drinks 2 or 3 Bloody Marys a day.
Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was buying Mr. T's and V8 to mix with the Smirnoff's. Then we went to Trader Joe's for flowers and I picked up a couple of bottles of their Bloody Mary mix and their Garden Patch Juice.
To our tastes, a 50⁄ 50 blend of their mixer and juice makes for the best home-mixed Bloody Marys, hands down.

I don't drink but I thought they looked great for a gift, as did everything I saw on that website.

Not yet, they'll be here next week. Thanks for the explanation, that makes perfect sense. I wish they had included that info in their email instead of me worrying they somehow packed someone else's order in with mine. If they had, I wasn't going to send it back anyway though.

The apple pie moonshine is delicious. And the box didn't weigh even 10 pounds. Dummies.
