Can you recall the first time you experienced the death of a pet, friend or family member?
Sometimes it feels like I've had that experience my whole life and I guess I have. I've always had animals in my life.

I remember when Kennedy got shot, just a few miles from my home. I remember my Grandfather dieing around that same time. I graphically remaber watching a guy that was about to rob take a 44Mag slug dead center in the chest about 20 feet from me once. Was a nice shot

What's the feeling of seeing that happen? I don't want to experience it but I am interested in knowing what you experienced. Did it affect you negatively? Were you very young or a fully grown man?
I'd probably spend the rest of my life hitting the deck every time I heard so much as a backfire.

People who are experiencing death, it doesn't hurt, and they only do it once!
For experiencing death for other people, and or pets, many times. It really hurts then!

I had just turned 14 and was admittedly a bit of an asshole. It did not affect me negatively at all, I found it pretty exciting at the time, didn't give a fuck that he had been a son, maybe a father and a real person. But that what happens when you pick up a gun and decide to take what isn't yours.
Now days I would probably think of some of that stuff, probably
