Damn. I wish I hadn't filled up on sushi, salmon, clams, calamari, shrimp and pork loin at the buffet for lunch. I'm still full like 6 hours later. I never thought I'd say it, but I might just skip dinner tonight.

A sirloin cap is on its way with the bavette steak I swapped out the scallops for it one more week and it's here. They are not taking any new subscriptions, have't for a few months now. I don't know why. I love my butcher box.

I still haven't worked through everything I bought back in March, when I heard beef prices were going to go up.      I'm having a party at the end of the summer,   and cooking evening that's left in the 2 deep freezers

That sounds like fun.

Actually just cleared the deep freezer 2 weeks ago.   Boiled up 30 pounds of chicken quarters, pulled the meat off the bone and saved the stock.  Defrosted the deep freezer and it's ready to go again.   I haven't bought meat all summer,  but damn we had some good cook outs and smoke outs.

It is!  Now, if my kids could actually shoot a deer,  I'd be happy.

Just got my box of meat. A few bags of scallops, some apple sausage 12 links, 2 boxes of pulled pork, some steaks, 3 chicken breast, a bunch of thick pork chops and some other steaks this month I got some nice marbled steaks. Sometimes they are all meat but this time they look nice. Labor day weekend is coming! Plus my 4 lbs of 85% hamburg, that was tossed in for life after I paid 40,00 It was worth it. Every month 4 lbs of hamburg, free.
