They must be getting ready to spawn, I know they onlt live for maybe 3 days or something but i'm getting dive bombed every time I go outside. I work next to a swamp so they are everywhere  hundreds of them. they don't hurt anything.

Consider yourself lucky when you have them around. They are your friend.

It's going to rain. They lurve water.

Fossils of dragonflies have been found. They had a wingspan of 30 inches. Woooooo

They can fly up to 60 MPH.

They are carnivores and they will eat a butterfly as well as mosquitoes and moths.

I love dragonflies. They are beautiful. I see them on and near the water also, big ones and little ones.

In SNAKEland (I HATE SNAKES) we have several white ceramic Dragonfly stepping stones for decoration,

not really for stepping on, and everyone seeing them for the first time comments on how beautiful they are.
