Oh it's a tumor alright, a big giant tumor of phone numbers of all these shitheads I have to call to get a voice mail saying their options have recently changed and due to a high
volume of calls my wait time is aprox 20 mins.

I know the one. My work has that. Recent staff cuts and what for "streamling" and everyone to do more with less and it doesn't work and customers get under serviced and have to wait forever.
Next step ship a few departments overseas and outsource most of the work and then find cultural/work attitudes/ work experience/ability ro think and work outside the box to find solutions, are all different and the workplace suffers again when all along keeping the onshore workers needed for the set work was what was needed.

I'm overwhelmed with this crap. I have like 500 papers on my desk and just want to swipe it all in the trash and say fuck it. Of course I can't do that because one of those papers is the electric bill and what the hell am I going to do if they turn off the lights, wallow in my misery in the dark?

I get that every few days and have to walk away i think everyone gets frustrated with customers that are in "me first" mode it's a fast food world that we live in now and everyone wants instant gratification. I blame Amazon.
