WORST HANGOVERS

I've never had many hangovers but, the two I recall with clarity as being just dreadful involved holiday parties...One was over indulging in hot rum toddies & I slept on the bathroom floor all night {cool tiles}...The other was from wine & I slept in my vehicle, if I lived somewhere very cold I prolly would have died from hypothermia...In both instances I really needed to be cold, in my drunken state I felt it helped.

I very rarely get hangovers any more, if I do get one though they are pretty bad, it usually feels like there is a rat in my brain trying to gnaw its way out of my skull.

My secret has been revealed.

1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol - that our lives had become unmanageable.

[color="red"]We managed to get ourselves busted and varicose veins abound.[/color]

2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

[color="red"]We switched to assholiness to protect ourselves from being butthurt.[/color]

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

[color="red"]We let go of any free will because we are weak bitches.[/color]

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

[color="red"]And found that theere's not a fucking thing wrong with us, it's the rest of you knob slobbers.[/color]

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

[color="red"]Trolled the shit out of some unsuspecting whiner.[/color]

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

[color="red"]So we got a new keyboard.[/color]

7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings.

[color="red"]We looked for guys with longer schlongs.[/color]
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

[color="red"]So we typed a public apology and pm'ed everyone else about how badly we pwned them.[/color]
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

[color="red"]We refrained from posting direct PI, but again, sent it out en mass via pm.[/color]

10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

[color="red"]An came up with some other evasive smartass comment.[/color]

11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

No brain hemorrhaging, just a bit of an upset tummy from the wine last night.

Worst hangover was from champagne. I can actually start getting a headache while drinking the first glass.

when I know I will be drinking a ton I just always make sure to drink a a huge glass of water BEFORE going to bed and take at least 2-3 aspirins. that way I dont wake up dehydrated or with a headache.
