I just cleaned up all the documents in my computer. Also got rid of stupid programs. I'm about ready to take all my pictures out and get my laptop. My son can keep this thing and be on his own, I'm sick of cleaning this thing up so when he starts whinning that everything is slow I can just laugh and say "clean up your drawings and artwork" he had over 40,000 documents of various video snapshots of his drawings trying to make them into animated videos, when he ran into a problem he would just start another...............I'm hunting down a decent laptop in earnest now, and cannot wait to turn this thing over.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

He should invest in an external hard drive.

We go through a lot of laptops in this house, mostly because the company that hubby works for buys new laptops every year and lets the employees take the old ones after they've been scrubbed. My current one is an Acer, it does what I need it to do, and it's got a 17 inch screen on it, so I can work on patterns without zooming in too much.
My absolute favorite was this little thinkpad (I think the brand was leveno or something like that, hubby said it's a cheapass brand), it had a quad processor in it that allowed me to run an embroidery program and a vinyl cutter at the same time. The Acer can't do that without freezing up.

I bought a new desktop more than a month ago and it's still sitting in a box in my office. The one I had been cussing for over a year suddenly began to act perfect once the new one was in my home. Go figure.

I regret talking myself out of an iMac.
