i don't even know how it happened or how long it lasted
but I remembered you brought me my favorite flowers
the next girl asked for diamond earings
and you gave those to her
Damn I said
I should have asked for those!
But I'm not a diamond earing kind of gal
I loved my flowers

You couldn't make it past 50
I wonder what happened
It looks like you got married 3 years ago
this month
She looked so happy
but was already with someone else a year later
I imagine you were out
facing your addiction
like before

I remember
we were on our way to a camping trip
with your family
and some friends
when we left your house, we had to go back
for something you forgot,
your flashlight
On the drive up to the mountain
when we passed a cop you got paranoid
when I asked why
I found out what was in that flashlight
I was so mad
pissed
If we got pulled over for any reason and that was found
I was on my way to joining the reserves at the time
We got to camp
and I told your family what had happened
they knew about your additction
we thought it was in the past
I left you there with them
stayed a night by myself in a tent
while you stayed wth your famly
then I went home the next day

You were always so sweet
I really had no hard feelings against you

I feel no emotion with your passing
I do wish I could go to your memorial
but I'm training for a new job
I think I recall one tme when I let your actions interfere
with a new place I was trying out
That sure was slly
always wondered what would have happened f

Thanks Duchess.
My chromebook got reset last month and I lost everything I stored on here which was duplicate photos and av or profile pics I liked to use. Since I had santa on mine I had to change it and this was the closest pic i had. I like it though so i'll keep it for a while.
Super long explanation.

Well,
Apparently he did die from drug abuse. His health had declined in this last year. Rapidly.

Don't do drugs kids!

Someone wrote a nice tribute about him and at the end basically said to love the stranger, the downcast etc etc.

n memory of M we ask that you give what you can to strangers; the poor, the downcast, the outcast. Whether it is a smile, a dollar, a word of hope, an embrace, a cup of coffee or even a cigarette.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8

The thing about memories is that some are to painful to forget.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

LUST is at the top of my list. I'm not sure if Adrenaline Junkie is a sin, but it's #2 in my "Multitude of Sins"

Give us another poem Mirah after you get inspiration from your boat trip. Put some zing in it like telling Clang to go fuck himself or something.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
