FOOD THAT MAKES YOU GO YUCK
#1
People around here eat muskrat. No, really, they do. One restaurant specialized in it. Good Lord. Is there any food like that where you are, food that would be considered strange by others?

They eat snapper soup here too. I've never eaten it but those that do, love it.

I'm not really that interested in food. A long time ago Blueberry Hill told me that I didn't appreciate good food, or words to that affect, I denied it and I think I may have done so rudely. I've regretted that every time I recall it because I think she was probably right, I don't appreciate good food, it's nothing more than a means to the end of my hunger. She was right, I was wrong.

Liver makes me go yuck. It doesn’t matter what animal’s liver - it’s all equally fucking yucky stuff.

You've obviously never had it smothered in butter, with salt, pepper, and peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It's delicious. Cold, dry liver is yuck.

I haven't tried it like that Clang.  But, I don't think smothering it with good stuff would make it any more palatable to me.  Just the smell and sight of liver on the plate makes me wanna  Smiley_emoticons_kotz.

They got Rocky Mountain oysters here, I guess. I prefer testicles still in their ball sack.

I'm not a big fan of the strong taste of liver. I grew up eating all kind's of stuff from cow udders to liver, they ate everything in Canada. I guess blood sausage may be the worst thing but I kinda like that all fried up with onions. I think they called the cows udder Ghartone or something and it was cooked or steamed in apple vinegar.

I was the same way with cooked spinach. It tastes better than it looks and smellsthough. I can't believe I didnt try it sooner than I did. Delicious. But green beans still make me gag unless I drown them in garlic and onions. Or a casserole.

I've eaten turtle soup, baby octopus and rocky mountain oysters and while I wouldn't want to eat it regularly, it still tasted better than liver. I'd rather eat a bowl of dirt than liver.

My Grandmother used to eat it all the time but she was the youngest of a family of 8 and always got the leftovers. Besides the liver is a filter that takes out the toxins in the blood it's gotta be filled with nasty shit.

Older people seem to really like liver. There is a diner here that serves a liver and onions Sunday special and the senior citizens line up for it.

People around here eat something called Scrapple too. I'm told it's all the odds & ends of the pig and they compact it all into a brick which is then sliced and fried. That doesn't sound appetizing either.

My dad used to cook scrapple for breakfast, it's disgusting. I'm pretty sure liver is in there too along with all the other parts.

I've heard of scrapple but thought it was a card game.

All of this revolting food has made me recall the woman who was a hoarder and had poop encrusted bowls all around her house. Oh God. Do any of you remember that thread? People were trying to help her but she wanted one more night with those fucking bowls. Goddamn!

That was the most disgusting Hoarders episode I've seen. The lady hoarded her own feces for years and thought it was perfectly normal.
