DO YOU HAVE A HANGOVER?
#1
Do you, or you or you?

If not, when was the last one?

Years ago. Late 20's or 30's. I rarely get hangovers. Even back when I was drinking alot. Always ate plenty of food when I drank. Guess sometimes it's good to be a fat fuck.

I haven't had a hangover for at least 18 years.
Even when I did drink I rarely got hangovers.

Nowadays I feel emotional hangovers or just eating poorly hangovers.

I thought you were younger than that unless you were 15.

I was pretty young when I quit. But not 15.

Not recently but I had a dream last night that I was vaping morphine which I'm pretty sure isn't a thing but I enjoyed it. I think my inner drug abuser is trying to get out.

I'm not hungover this morning, but once or twice a year I drink too much and feel shitty the next day.

No one ended up getting drunk here yesterday, just buzzed.  But, I'm definitely recovering from football food coma this morning.

I ate stuff that I very rarely eat and never in combination  -- nachos, chips and dips, salami and cheese, potato salad, heavily-glazed wings, meatballs, Italian sausages, and even two oatmeal raisin cookies.

I've never seen you eat like that. You must have been close to being in a food coma.  hah

I hadn't eaten some of that stuff in over 4 years.

It was fucking delicious!  Especially the nachos.  Aussie claims she makes the best nachos ever, pffft.

And..................today, my body is in shock.  Smiley_emoticons_smile   I went grocery shopping this morning and will be re-calibrating this week -- fish, spinach, eggs, coffee, water (and, voda/soda water).

I remember when you started and I can tell from your pix that you have been very successful. No carbs or close to no carbs, right?

25 carbs or less per day is my standard and, at this point, it's easy to adhere to.

Every once in a while, I exceed that with healthy food and don't sweat it.  But, cookies (or bread or cake or other desserts/sweets) never make it to my plate.

I really don't miss bread or sweets, but I do miss potatoes a lot and sometimes eat a few french fries or small bit of mashed or bake potato when we go out to eat.

I feel your pain. I'm still in a bit of the football food coma. I had a huge short rib, smoked mac and cheese, wings, chips and dip, tortilla chips with chili, lightly salted peanuts, and celery sticks with ranch, two cigars, and 3 beers.

Yeh, I think I was lying, I have been to some mexican restaurants you can look it up, one is closed down now, but another in Brisbane called Montezumas. Honestly the best Mexican food in the world. Right there. For real Maury.

I really feel like drinking tonight.
It would require going to the store.
Man I wonder what that would be like after all of these years.
I even went to one of those meetings too.

I wonder at what point I would drink and have a hang over. When I did drink I don't recall ever having one.
I mean if I drank, it would be to get drunk. What other reason is there? A glass of wine with dinner? A beer?

Its because I watched the Queen's Gambit and watched the main character drink for an enitre weekend or week and it looked so fun.

But suddenly after just writing all that I don't feel like drinking anymore. And I don't care what y'all think of this stupid post either.

Writing about it worked. It helped to make the moment pass and that's a good thing.
