Some idiot doctor decided it would be a grand idea to prove a social distance point by choking a teenager.

A Kentucky doctor who violently attacked a group of teen girls, choking one of them, apparently for failing to practice social distancing, was arrested after a video of the incident went viral over the weekend. The video, which was posted to Reddit and titled, "Man strangles teenage girl for failing to social distance," shows a man approach at least four girls who are on a picnic blanket. A woman near him appears to film on her phone as one of the girls tells them the group is leaving.
It's unclear what happened before the video began, but one girl says to the man, who is staring them down, "Please, let’s not cuss at each other."

The man then calls one of the girls an "a--hole," before both he and the woman go after the group. The man shoves three girls before lunging at a fourth girl, appearing to pin her on the ground. The girls scream, and one pleads with the man to "seriously, get off of her!
More than 3,000 people commented on the Reddit post, and a a tweet of the video from writer and activist Shaun King was retweeted more than

Well, the girls are idiots for not following the social distancing guidelines.

But, lots of teens do idiotic stuff -- though that stuff usually doesn't have the ability to put other people's health and lives at risk like with this Covid-19 virus.

Anyway, I understand the ^ doctor's frustration, but what a dipshit (and hypocrite) for laying hands on the girls.

Shaun King is a twat and the only reason he'd be involved in calling this out is because he's claiming the doctor is a racist. I have no idea if the doctor's one or not but anything Shaun King posts is suspect.

It was reportedly  a group of nine friends hanging out at the amphitheater, admittedly in defiance of both a stay-at-home order and the social distancing guidelines.  https://www.thedailybeast.com/john-radem...police-say

Seems highly unlikely they all lived in the same house (though we're following the guidelines even at home).

In any case, if only one of the girls was infected and asymptomatic, she could spread the infection to the others and so on and so on....

I know it's apples and oranges, but my kid gets yelled at all the time for not distancing.   He's a front end supervisor at a grocery store.  Just yesterday, some dude screamed at him because he was one of 2 people in the customer service booth.  Sometimes he just can't avoid standing next to another employee, but he gets yelled at by the customers all the time for it.

I have seven people in my immediate family, if we were to go on a picnic out in the open air away from other people I'd expect not to be attacked by some douchebag. If he's so worried about it why doesnt he go attack people at lowes and Walmart.
