I'm so old, I thought this would be about the 1983 Beirut bombing that killed 241 US military. My very young brother-in-law was over there but fortunately he was on a Navy medical ship for something and missed the destruction.

That area has been a mess for decades.

I saw that video a day or so after the explosion. Have y'all seen any of the other videos? It was a godawful explosion. I read a story about a woman's dog who was so frightened by it that he jumped out the window to his death. I'm sorry I did because I still think about it.
