INSURRECTION
(01-15-2022, 05:49 AM)Duchess Wrote: The National Guard in DC is the only National Guard unit in the United States that's under the control of the President. Sund claimed under oath that he requested the National Guard after speaking to those at the Pentagon, but his request was denied because of "optics".

Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence were being hunted like dogs, they are the last people who would have declined help that day.

You know perfectly well that optics means politics, which is a steaming pile of horse shit, but you still won't acknowledge that Pelosi DID decline Sund's request for Guard units.

It's like all the people who believe in this fake insurrection nonsense never knew that mobs can get violent, in spite of the fact that violence was plainly visible at every single protest that the media had previously described as "peaceful".

It takes an incredible amount of dishonesty to think that this isn't a blatant double standard; which, once again, is why I hate partisan politics. BOTH sides put politics ahead of this nation, and both sides are incapable of looking at their own glaring deficiencies.

rothschild, republicans have been saying Pelosi declined the National Guard for months. If you have something that backs up that claim, some proof, I would be delighted to read it, but as it stands now there is nothing out there. I've looked. Repeatedly.

I would be surprised if Pelosi could even see her phone with her eyebrows lifted so high. It must be a big blur.

Are you claiming that the Speaker of the House isn't delegated the authority to make these kinds of decisions re the US Capitol?

I am claiming that there is no evidence that Nancy Pelosi ignored requests for the National Guard. That's what the conversation we are having pertains to. What the fuck is wrong with you? I feel like I wonder that everyday in regards to you. When something you claim gets shot down you proceed on to something else as if that were part of the discussion all along.

Not trying to prove either one of you is correct.

Sund's request on Jan 4 was to have guardsmen on *standby* -- out of view of the public unless things got out of hand -- so concern over "optics" is pure deception.

You are amazing Lizzie, anyone that answers a single question from that witch hunt is a damn fool. Pleading the 5th is a smart and legal way to stay clear of the traps those wise ass blackguards have set, and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it. Alex Jones is an idiot; I am surprised he was wise enough to use it.

The real insurrection going on today is the COS Project; great news, Wisconsin just passed the resolution to become the 16th state to pass the resolution. On Thursday, Nebraska is expected to put us halfway there.

it takes 34 states to approve the same resolution in order to call the Article V convention. Any amendments approved at the convention must then be ratified by 38 states to become accepted in the Constitution.

Pleading the 5th is just another way of saying "OK Prosecution what have you got" Usually in a kangaroo court it is just another way of moving on to the next idiot that has no evidence against them and will not give any. It happens quite a bit.
